Watching the trees sway gracefully as the wind blew, I leaned my back against the trunk of the tree and shifted my gaze to Atlas. He was sprinting across the field, sweat glistening on his skin, his chest rising and falling with each breath.

When his eyes flicked towards me for what felt like the hundredth times, I licked my lower lip before letting out a small playful smile as I held his gaze for a moment.

"Go, baby." I mouthed without any sound.

And that maybe made him feel something because the side of his lips stretched before he looked away and brushed his hair up.

I couldn't help but sigh as I watched him looking so happy just because of my actions. I didn't know this was my effect on him.

We are currently on the soccer field, they are having a practice while I watch him. I went straight here after our basketball practice because I was wondering what took him so long because their practice usually ends first. Iyon pala ay hindi pa tapos ang sa kanila.

"You took a shower after your practice?" he asked the moment he reached me when they finished. "I told you you could sit on the bench, baby." he held my hands to pull me up, his fingers warm against mine. He then tilted his head and upper body slightly, his gaze sweeping over me to check my back or the seat of my pants for dirt or dust.

"I prefer sitting here 'cause it's cool." I said and waited for him to finish scanning my back. "I took a shower while waiting for you at the gym pero nakatapos na lang ako sa pagligo, wala ka pa rin." I added and kissed his chin when I made sure that no one was looking at us.

"I'm sorry about that. Our coach extended because the match is approaching." he said and took my bag from the ground.

"It's okay. I love fetching you." I said and chuckled at him, which earned a smile from him. "And I love watching you play." I added naughtily.

He let out a faint chuckle and poked my nose while looking at me adoringly.

"Pwede akong sumama sa inyo?" my smile dropped when I heard his friend's voice coming over.

"No." Atlas said and turned to Rage, who is now looking at us like we did him wrong.

"Pet peeve ko talaga 'yung mga kaibigang nakakalimutan 'yung kaibigan nila kapag nagkakaroon ng jowa."

I shifted on where I was standing and looked at him flatly. While Atlas didn't seem to care, I was, on the other hand, got a bit offended for him.

"Pet peeve din kita, don't worry." I said and smirked at Rage.

"Hmm.." I chuckled and grinned at me. "Pet peeve ko rin 'yung mga pumapatol sa mga babae'ng may boyfriend na." he said casually but his tone carried a hint of something sharp beneath it.

Hindi niya pa rin 'yon nakakalimutan?

That was ages ago. And I didn't know that that woman was his girl.

I froze for a second, caught off guard by what he said, but laughed sarcastically and looked away to give my attention to Atlas but I only caught him staring at me.

"Ingat ka diyan, pre. Nong nakaraan tinatanggi ka pa niyan, wala raw kayong relasyon."

Tumawa pa talaga siya nang malakas kaya napatingin ulit ako sa kanya, nagtataka kung saan ko sinabi iyon. But then I felt like there was suddenly a light bulb in my head when an image of us that night outside a convenience store flashed my mind.

I sighed and averted my gaze to look at Atlas again. He remained staring at me for a second with his eyebrows kind of furrowed before he turned to his friend.
