Unlike previous installments, I will be ending this at 4 chapters, not 5. But feel free to request additions!
You awoke in a new position.
At some point during the night, Loona had rolled over the top of you, turning you both to face towards the center of the room. Loona was squished between you and the wall. Though with her arms still clutching you close to her chest, it was obvious she had pulled you along, and that was of her own unconscious volition.
You had almost panicked when you returned to the waking world, your eyes snapping open at the pressure of someone against your back, and the feeling of them holding you tightly. You were thankful that you quickly remembered what had occurred the night before. If you really did end up freaking out, and you had woken up Loona, you might not ever hear the end of it. She would tease you about never being touched by a woman or something, you figured.
Your alarm hadn't gone off, and with Loona hugging you, she clearly wasn't letting you go anywhere anytime soon, so you just kept following your plan from last night: do nothing. You relaxed back into Loona's arms, and she somehow was able to hug you tighter, snaking her arms and clasping your sides like you were her own personal, massive teddy bear. It helped that she was slightly bigger than you.
You breathed softly, trying to fall back asleep. You tried to enjoy the warmth of Loona's body while you still could, before she would eventually wake up. And you did, for a while. The parts of her exposed, soft fur against your back, the steady rise and fall of her breathing rocking you, the unusual intimacy of being hugged from behind...It was the first time you had been touched this way since you arrived in hell. You would never admit it to Loona, but you had been starved of affection. You hadn't tried even going outside to meet new people. Hell was dangerous, and looking like a Hellhound made it all the more so. So, you pressed back into Loona's chest, stifling a comforted moan as her chin rested atop your head. The feeling of being held like this after so many months of abuse and stress was almost enough to make you cry, and you were actively fighting back tears. You refused to let it be yet another thing Loona might tease you for when she woke up.
Eventually, ultimately, inevitably, your alarm went off. Loona's unconscious grip had relaxed by then, so you carefully tried pulling away from her, if only to turn it off. The sleeping she-wolf sensed her makeshift bear pulling away, due to a sudden lack of pressure and warmth against her, and her grip tightened, preventing you from moving. Believing the best course of action would still be to let her sleep, you did your best to relax and press back against her. You were rewarded with a breath from her that sounded almost like a satisfied sigh. But the alarm was still going off. It was loud and annoying; how had she not woken up yet!?
You tried to pull away again, slower and more carefully than before. This time, you had better luck. Her claws slowly fell away from your sides as you made your way out from the embrace. Only for them to suddenly wrap back around and pull you against her the moment the only thing touching you was her forearms. This was a much more active hug as she forcefully tugged you back, surprising you. Another "Wough!" escaped you as your torso was crushed in a death grip by the sleeping hellhound.
It was then that you heard her whisper, and you realized she wasn't sleeping. Her voice was quiet, and trembling. These weren't the murmurs of a content and sleepy wolf, or even a dreaming one. This was a very much awake Hellhound, and she sounded scared, voicing a desperate plea.
"Please, don't leave me."
Your eyes widened in a state of shock. She was small. Impossibly small, as if she wasn't the one who had been large and strong enough to encase and trap you in her arms. As if she wasn't the one who had acted as the big spoon in your subconscious cuddle, or had been the one who demanded you get in bed in the first place. Your heart ached when you heard her voice, but lacked the recognition of it. Why did she seem so helpless? This wasn't the Loona you knew.
