"No fucking way."

Loona looked she wanted to be mad at you, but curiosity quickly overcame her, and doused any anger that she might've harbored. It was you who looked like shit, not Octavia. What had happened at Stolas's mansion that left you in that state, and had Octavia actively seeking you out?

Loona pushed herself off the desk, and padded over to Octavia.

"Hey, have you been doing okay since...?" she asked her. Loona must've been referring to something you were not aware of. You remembered she was the one who had found her in L.A. Maybe that's what she's referring to?

"As okay as I can be," Octavia shrugged. "I wish dad would just..." She let out a groan. "I don't really know." She took a deep breath and clenched her fists as she said that, and then let them go as she sighed. Loona motioned silently, asking if she wanted a hug with her with her body language. Octavia accepted, and gave a quick hug. Then she noticed you at the receptionist desk, staring. She started to walk over.

Loona quickly moved to put herself in front of her.

"Ohhh, no you don't. I'm going to need some details before I let you anywhere near them," Loona laughed. She pointed at you.

"You. Conference room. We'll be right behind you," Loona ordered.

"I still have a job to—" you began, but Loona gave you a look. You shut up, stood up, and walked through into the conference room like you were born to do it. Loona intimidated you more than you would like to admit.

She was true to her word, and was only a moment behind you. She held the door for Octavia, then closed it behind her. Loona motioned for you to sit down near the windows. While you sat yourself, Loona led Octavia to the diagonally opposite chair from you; the one nearest the door. Then she put herself where Blitzø usually stood when he led company meetings.

She took a deep breath and steadied herself. Then she lost her composure immediately, doubling over as she started laughing. "What the fuck happened last night? (Y/N) looks like shit, and, Octavia, I know you would never willingly bring yourself to be near Blitzø. You gotta tell me what happened." Loona wiped a tear from her eye. You were used to being made of fun of by Loona; she was your best friend. However, you weren't sure how Octavia would react.

Octavia flushed, embarrassed. You had long ago decided not to question what fucked-up demon biology allowed creatures with fur, feathers, and scales to show blood flow in that way, let alone sweat when under pressure.

"You don't know what I wouldn't do..." Octavia grumbled under her breath, crossing her arms. It was clear she wasn't comfortable sharing. She glanced over at you, and saw that you did indeed look like shit. You clearly hadn't slept, and your fur still wasn't fully dried from the shower, making it look like you had a bad hair day all over your body.

You yawned, stretching your jaw to the point where you could feel your skin straining around the corners of you mouth. You scratched under your jaw, annoyingly aware of every inch of skin where the fur stuck in an uncomfortable way. You fucking furry.

Octavia's expression shifted to one of guilt, and she sighed, disappointed.

"I...asked if I could touch their fur." Octavia put her face in her hands, ashamed. "I'm sorry."

"That's it?" Loona's laugh became a cackle, and she doubled over again.

"Satan, that's rich. Is this the first time you've ever been touched by a woman?" Loona teased. You followed Octavia's lead in emotional response, becoming red with embarrassment as well.
