Your head fucking exploded.
There was a momentary loss of consciousness. A gap that separated the single before from the multiple after. Your head was no longer ringing, and you were no longer in any pain. You could process your previously overwhelming emotions easily, being able to dedicate a space in your mind to each and all of them. You lifted yourself from the table, and the first thing you noticed was your hands. Where you once had a grey fingerless glove-like pattern, you now had stiffer, blackened fur on the back of your hands, adding a starker contrast to the white fur on the fingers leading up to your claws. You got the feeling that if you tried to brush that fur, it would be sharp to the touch. That wasn't the strangest part. You could see each hand clearly. They were far apart, having been spread to brace yourself, but they weren't exactly in your peripheral vision; you could focus on both at once. While there was usually a small area of active sight perception, there were now...three? You looked up at the rest of the table, remembering the high-stakes situation you currently were in. The movement, which should have been simple, was decidedly not. While you had looked up, and could now see the rest of the Overlords staring at you, your attention was also still on your claws. This should've been disorienting, but it surprisingly wasn't. You were able to compute this with ease and could dedicate a minor space in your head to the shock you felt.
You now were in possession of three heads, each with a different set of commanding blue eyes, and mouths lined with teeth as sharp as knives. You felt a bubbling sensation around your necks. A fourth head sprouted, though notably smaller than the first three, and lacking in their acute perception. Then a fifth head sprouted. A sixth. A surge of smaller, fist-sized heads burst forth. What flesh now lay above your collar bone, having been given space by your torn suit, became a shifting and writhing mass of heads, each one pressing itself out of your skin and fur to see, snapping its jaws before returning beneath, letting another head come up to take its place. You understood that each one represented the trust of a soul or Hellhound you had earned. Your main three heads were still front and center, each growling in a triadic harmony. You were an embodiment of the pride ring, and it was terrifying.
Well, to the people in front of you, at least. You could fully dedicate a whole brain to fear just fine, with three heads.
Your cover was definitely blown though. At least now you could fully revel in the pride of being an Overlord.
You still had to deal with the fact that a select few Overlords were threatening to remove your people from the Pride ring. You could be fully angry at that.
A realization had come upon you, bringing your attention back to your current situation. Had Carmilla lied to you? She had framed it that every other Overlord was on board with this "mass removal" of Hellhounds, but all you had seen were the three V's acting pissy. There had been a discussion with some recognizable amount of civility and respect before Vox made his anger known.
While you thought this, you surveyed the room, expertly navigating your three heads together, yet still in different directions. It was trivially easy, using the computing power of three brains, as well as what you had previously thought to be an absolute assault on your senses. In fact, your sensory overload from before had probably been some kind of indication of the nature of your "True Demon Form." You also recognized that the alley had been the first time you had accessed a weaker state of the form, and you hadn't realized it then.
One of your heads turned to Loona. She was freaked the fuck out, but she was scared for you, not of or by you, nor by the other Overlords in the room. Her face mostly showed surprise and concern.
Your right head looked at the gathering of Overlords. They had a mixture of different responses, after their initial observation of you. Some were impressed, some were angry, and some clearly thought you were showing off. All were surprised. You remembered that they had stood up from their chairs when you had braced yourself on the table. They had been in for a shock when you transformed. Two heads bursting from your skull must've been quite a sight.
