Krista: Awww! That's a cute name! Did you just get her recently? Because I've never seen any turtle in your house whenever I visited years ago
Kaito: Yeah. Just got her about a month ago. Wonder what the meeting between her and Horoboros would be like?
Krista: Hopefully Horoboros doesn't do anything harmful to Rovere. Horoboros!
Horoboros approached Krista and Kaito
Krista: Hori, meet Rovere, Kaito's pet turtle
Horoboros turned to look at Rovere the turtle and stared at her with curiosity. Rovere stepped back and hid half of her head inside her shell
Krista: Is she scared?
Kaito: She might be. I heard that shell retraction is one of the signs of a scared turtle
Krista: Hm.... I can see why. Horoboros is a cat and cats are natural predators. How do I show her that Horoboros is friendly?
Kaito: I'm not sure how....
As the two began form thoughts, Horoboros stepped closer to Rovere and licked her face. Rovere doesn't come out from her shell
Krista: She's still scared of him...
Kaito: Rover, it's okay, girl. Hori is friendly. He won't eat you
Kaito gently pats Rovere's shell as comfort and reassurance. After a few minutes, Rovere comes out of her shell and slowly walks up to Horoboros with steady standing. Right as soon as she approached closer to Horoboros, Horoboros gently patted her head and meowed in joy while smiling. Rovere eventually smiled and appreciated his pats, appearing to trust the blue cat
Kaito: Looks like these two got along pretty quick
Krista: Which is good, honestly
Kaito only nodded as he and Krista watched their pets play together
