Two strangers meet there on the same day: Alba, a young historian and distant descendant of Katara, who is chasing a family legend; and Matteo, an earthbender turned surveyor and restorer, tasked with cataloguing forgotten sites as the nations are rebuilt. Aang and Katara's statues, covered in roots, may not be as lifeless as they seem - and their encounter will awaken far more than an ancient myth.
