What If... Krista dies in the future instead of being in a coma?

◈◈❋❋ Summary ❋❋◈◈

Due to unexpected powerful attacks from the Inves and Demons, Krista  slowly dies in the arms of her children

✾✾❀❀ Starting... ❀❀✾✾

Rain strongly poured from the grey clouds at Krista's death spot, her body lying on the wet ground, blood poured down from her mouth and the deep, powerful cut as a result of a powerful attack.

Lucius: "MOTHER!"

Nero: "MOM!"

Kanade: "No... Mom..."

The three siblings rushed to her dying body, sitting right next to her as Lucius carefully held her body.

Lucius: "No, please! Please don't die!"

Krista slowly tilts her head to face him and his siblings, forming a weak smile on her lips.

Krista: "Lucy..."

Nero: "Don't move, mom! I'll go get help!"

Nero dashed off to find the rest of the gang as Kanade and Lucius stayed with Krista.

Kanade falls onto her knees, tears bursting out of her eyes.

Kanade: "I'm sorry, mom! I'm so sorry! It's all my fault! If only I had been aware and not being ditsy, you wouldn't be like this! Please! Please don't go!"

With little strength, Krista holds her hand on Kanade's cheek and caresses it

Krista: "It's not your fault, Kanade... Don't blame yourself... For that..."

Krista suddenly begins to cough violently, blood spitting out from the cough.

Lucius: "Stay still, mother! Help will be on the way!"

Krista: "I don't think I'll survive... Even if I... Get hospitalized..."

Lucius: "W-What...?"

Kanade: "Huh...?"

Kanade and Lucius both fell silent, baffled by their mother's words. They never thought that Krista would say such a thing, as they're used to her all-time positivity.

Lucius: "No! I refuse! You will live, mother! You will!"

Krista gently shakes her head, still placing the same weak smile on her lips.

Krista: "Please promise me one thing... Keep on living... For me..."

She closed her eyes as she took one last breath... Before her hand slipped down from Kanade's cheek and dropped to the ground...

Kristalina... Is dead

Lucius: "No.... No! Mother!"

Kanade fell silent, frozen in dread. She wanted to scream and cry, yet she is somehow unable to release her voice...

As Nero returned with the others, it was too late... Krista is already gone...

Nero: "Mom...?"

Kaito: "Is she..."

Vergil: "No..."

Lucius tightly hugs Krista's lifeless body, tears bursting out from his eyes.

Lucius: "Please don't leave us, mother! Wake up! Please! I wanted to show you more of my stories after all of this! I wanted to make you proud! I had promised you that! So please, mom...

Please wake up..."
