The New Girl

-Early This Morning-

Natsu woke up with a frown on his face 'Great.. it's Monday...' Natsu thought grumpily, he stood up and stretched his back to make it crack "Hey Flameboy, why are ya up?", Natsu turned to a smirking Gray "Your not gonna meet someone are you?" he said tauntingly "What? Why would I do that at 7:30 in the morning?" he asked while glaring at Gray "Beside's your the perv, Icebrain." he smirked. Gray looked at him in disgust "I'm gonna get you some day Flameboy, just you wait.." Natsu rolled his eye's and went to the bathroom to go and change without being seen 'What am I doing today since it's the holiday...' Natsu thought, he walked back into his dorm room with a light gray, long-sleeved, t-shirt and some jeans "You look dumb." "Ha ha real funny." "What, it's the truth." Natsu rolled his eyes "Anyway, I'm leaving." "Good." "I was gonna ask if you want to come but I guess not." he replied with a smirk, Gray showed how much he did not care by grunting and rolling over back into his la-la land 'What is his problem, why are we even kinda friends we just 'shouldn't be friends' period!' he thought while rolling his eyes. Natsu walked out into the hallway and down the stairs of the building his dorm was in, many of the girls commented while he was walking by like "Hey Natsu! "Hi Natsu." "What's up Natsu?", they kinda acting like they were trying to get closer to him instead of trying to be nice, which they were 'Why am I the popular one?!' he thought to himself with an annoyed expression on his face. After walking for what seemed like forever, he arrived at a small cafe on the corner of his highschool "Finally, FOOD!' he thought happily, when he entered the restaurant, it was mostly empty 'Great, now I don't have to wait..' They waiter sat him down and left, Natsu sighed sadly 'I wish I had someone who wouldn't be overly attached to me to hang with...' he thought, for the rest of his meal, all Natsu could think about was a girlfriend.

-Timeskip-

"Hey Flamebrain, did you hear about the news?" Natsu had been gone all day long eating, wandering , and thinking "No what?" "Hold on why do you look so distant?" Gray questioned "Like it's any of your business Ice queen!" he sad angered "Geez, ok I won't ask." he turned to not look at Natsu "Anyway, theres a new girl coming to the school, and I heard that she is from the Hearfilia family." Natsu shrugged, Gray just looked at him in shock "Do you even know who I'm talking about?" Natsu just shrugged and shook his head, Gray smacked himself on his forehead "The Heartfilia's are some of the richest family's in the world!" Natsu just shrugged, he didn't care about money or looks, he cared about the inside of the girl and what they were like, he never tried to date the girls here because he already knew what they were like, braggy, sassy, overly attached, etc.. "Whoever dates her would be the really lucky one." Gray murmured "Hey do you think it could be me?" Grays expression looked excited and happy but Natsu waved it good bye "She would never fall for you." Gray punched him the arm "OW! What was that for?!" "That was for being a jerk about me and my love life!" "I don't have time for this..", Natsu walked out the door without another word. 'Ugh, Gray's so stupid,who would fall for someone like that, well actually, Juvia has.' he snickered at the thought of Juvia stalking him when -WAM!- he ran into someone "OW! Watch where your go-" he stopped when he looked up at one of the prettiest girls he has ever seen, she had super blonde hair with dark brown eyes and a cute little bow in her hair "Sorry for lashing out like that." he apologized, the girl seemed to be staring at Natsu "Hello? Hello?!" he said "Oh.. sorry." she apologized "It's fine." Natsu chuckled "What's your name?" "Oh.. I'm Lucy." "Nice to meet you Lucy, I'm Natsu." "Nice to meet you to, Natsu." I looked down at a piece of paper in Lucy's hands "Hey, what do you go there." Natsu pointed out "Oh, that's my schedule." "Mind if I take a look?" she handed Natsu the paper 'Hmm... oh, sweet I get to see this girl much more often because of class, maybe...' Natsu laughed "Ha! We have most of the same classes together." she looked at him a little shocked, he tried to change the subject "Well, I hope to see you tonight." "Why tonight?" she questioned "Well, since we live here we eat here." 'obliviously' he thought "So tonight, I will see you, right?" "Sure, ok." "Great see ya then!" I ran back to my dorm to refresh myself a bit 'Ok, I'm not gonna make this awkward for me or Lucy, tonight I will get to know more about her, at dinner....
