L's POV
Oscar and his girlfriend are at my place, waiting while getting ready for the night out. I take a quick shower and throw on a pair of jeans, my McLaren sneakers, and a white t-shirt.
"Uh... Lando!?," Oscar shouts from the living room.
"Yeah!?"
"You got a text message!" My phone was sitting on charge at my desk. "Could it be her?"
I walk over to grab my phone. Oscar and Lily look at me.
"Did you tell her to, Osc?" I ask, already knowing what's coming.
Lily quickly looks away, like she knows nothing. Oscar just shrugs.
"It's a text from Skye," I say, a grin spreading across my face as I read her message.
"You should invite her to join us," Lily suggests, and Oscar agrees.
I quickly text her back with the details, hoping she'll say yes.
I head back into the room to put some deodorant on when my phone pings in my pocket.
"Yes!" I say out loud, thrilled.
Oscar looks at Lily, a smirk on his face. "Well, I guess she's coming." Lily giggles in response.
The three of us head to the club, and the driver drops us off. The security guard greets me at the entrance.
"Evening, Mr. Norris."
"Good evening. I'm expecting two guests tonight—the girl and her friend from the other night. Please send her up when she gets here."
The security guard nods, and we walk inside, heading up to the VIP lounge. Carlos, Rebecca, Charles, and Alex are already there when we arrive.
Oscar plops down on the couch, looking way too pleased with himself.
"Attention, everyone," he says dramatically. "The mysterious Skye will make her appearance tonight. She and her friend will be joining us later."
Everyone looks at me and smiles, and I shake my head at Oscar, giving him a look.
"Let's get some drinks and shots," Carlos says, and the waitress brings over some tequila shots. We all make a toast.
"To the top 5 racers!"
"To the top 5 racers!" We clink our shot glasses together and down the tequila.
"It's party time!" Oscar shouts, then plants a huge kiss on Lily's cheek.
The security guard approaches. "Mr. Norris, your guests have arrived."
"Great, send them in."
