The Last Reality

The Herd evolves

The bus gets pushed to the inside further and further.
Undead bodies come pouring in like bees out of a hive.
"Take them down! Give everything we got!", Raven yells.
"They're not fast enough to-"
Raven is wrong; some corpses run inside faster than an athlete can sprint.

One of the fast ones grabs Demi ands lifts her in the air with one hand like shes a feather and opens it's mouth to bite her in the neck, but Hannah shoots it in the head.
It only gets blown away by the knockback and stands up before running towards Hannah.
Hannah shoots it again, now it falls down.
"WHAT THE LLAMA ARE THESE THINGS?!", she yells.
"GET EVERYONE INTO THE FORTIFIED SAFEPOINTS!", Raven screams.

"Where. Is. KAT?!"
Everyone of the core group is in the museum, except Kat.
"I'm sure she's-"
"SHE BETTER IS, OR I'LL KILL HER!"
The loud scream of a woman and bumping to the front gates interupts their conversation.
The screams slowly die.
"KAT!", Charlie screams after the screams stopped completely.
She falls down on her knees and starts crying loudly.
"KAT! Kat..."

"Yeah?"
Kat's voice can be heard from behind them. Everyone looks at her relieved and Charlie jumps up, walks to Kat, slaps her and kisses her like it's the last thing she will ever do.
The rest of the group feels uncomfortable.
"Did I miss something...?", Joseph asks. They stop kissing.
"Yeah, we're together, DEAL WITH IT", Kat and Charlie say exactly at the same time.

"Now, what were these runners?!", Joseph asks.
"I have no idea, but I do know that is just what we needed!", Raven says.
Another series of banging on the gates sounds.
"How many do you think there are?", Kat asks.
"Walkers or runners?"
"Is that what we're calling them now? Runners?"
"Any better suggestions?"
"I'm not complaining"
"I think the streets are overrun already, we'll need more than we have right now to clean them out", Raven explains.
"We must have lost a lot of people, let's hope the rest are all safe..."
