I swallowed, feeling a mix of fear and determination. “So, where do we start?”

He took a deep breath, his eyes hardening. “First, we keep this between us and Inspector Morales. No reports, no records. We move carefully, quietly. Tuguegarao might be their playground, but we'll make it ours, too.”

“Hindi kasi ganyan, tanga.” hinablot ko ang mouse sa kamay ng kapatid ko dahil sa irita.

Kanina pa ako naiinis kakaturo rito. Paano ba naman kasi, ang low gets ng kapatid ko!

“Kamusta ang araw niyo?” pumasok si mama habang nagtatalo kami ng kapatid ko. Umupo siya sa gilid ng kama ko, dito ko kasi tinuturuan ng Data Algorithm ang kapatid ko.

Tinupi nito ang mga damit kong nakakalat pa sa kama ko. Napanguso ako.

“Ayos naman ma.” kumunot ang noo ni mama sa akin matapos makita ang itsura ko.

“Natulog ka ba anak?” ngumiwi siya pero maya maya'y napalitan ng pag aalala ang mga tingin niya.

Nakangiwi parin siya pero hindi na ulit nagsalita at ipinagpatuloy ang pagtutupi.

“Set, anong gusto mong kunin sa college? Nakapag isip-isip ka na ba?” napatigil ako sa pagduduro ng kailangang i-click ni khail sa screen ng laptop at napalingon kay mama ng magtanong ito.

Nakangiti siya sa akin, natapos na pala niyang tupihin lahat ng nakakalat kong damit sa kama at pinagmamasdan kaming magkapatid.

“Siguro Info Tech nalang ma, hindi lang dahil sa libre ang tuition fee pag sa CSU mag-aaral, kundi dahil ito po ang passion ko.” kitang-kita ko ang malawak na ngiti ni mama matapos marinig ang sagot ko. Akala ko ay magiging strikto rin siya gaya ng ibang mga magulang. Pagpipiliin ako ng kursong hindi ko naman gusto.

“Ayaw mo bang mag CS anak? O Computer Engineer? Diba mas advance iyon? Gagawa kayo ng mga robots?” nangunot ang kaniyang noo.

Before i decided my chosen course, i've researched their aspects, similarities and differences first and i know na hindi ako magsisisi sa pagpili ng I.T course.
