"What are you talking about?" he asked confusedly which made me sneer at him.
"Sorry but my friends are all straight. They won't like you romantically" I said but Red's face suddenly registered in my mind.
Oo nga pala. Nabaliko 'yung isa.
"What are you even talking about? I don't like your friends that way." he said flatly but I smirked.
"Edi, ako?" I asked confidently, which earned a scoff and a chuckle from him.
See? Parang gago.
"You are so full of yourself." he said.
"You are so full of shit." pikon na saad ko. "Alis na dito! Tapos na yata 'yung break niyo." I said to stop this conversation with him. Baka masuntok ko pa 'to.
"What time is your class?" sumunod ang tingin ko sa kanya nang tumayo siya.
"One. Why?" sagot ko kahit hindi ko naman talaga obligasyon na sabihin sa kanya.
"Wanna grab some lunch with me?" he asked like it's the most normal thing. He was even fixing his hair nonchalantly while I was caught off guard by his question.
"Bakit naman ako sasama sa 'yo? Wala ka bang kaibigan?" I roamed my gaze around the soccer field like I would spot a friend of him.
"If you don't want then you can say no." aalis na dapat siya nang nagsalita ulit ako.
"Libre mo?"
Kung libre niya, sasama ako!
"You surely have money but okay." I don't know what got into me but I just found myself grinning while nodding my head. "I'll just finish the practice. I'll leave my phone here."
My eyebrows furrowed when he passed me his phone. Good thing my reflexes were fast because I was able to catch it. I looked at it strangely as he walked away to go back to his teammate.
He is that confident that I wouldn't do anything with his phone, huh? We are not close or anything. That was also the first time we talked casually without offending each other, but he already trusted me with his phone? Or maybe, he just has money to buy another one in case I do something with this?
It was the default wallpaper of his phone. Hindi niya man lang naisip na palitan 'to?
Pakialam ko ba.
I shook my head and ignored the messages registering on his phone and watched him play. I guess we are civil now?
Speaking of lunch...
I took my phone to message my friends who left and will come back later since our class today starts at one.
Blake:
Can't eat lunch with you guys. I need to go somewhere.
We planned to go somewhere to grab some lunch there but I guess I can skip.
Aiden:
Blake:
Thank you Lord sa Diyos? Grabe, pati demonyo mapapa-you're welcome sa 'yo, Aiden.
