And why would I say yes? That man is a stranger.
"Thank you for not leaving me on the street." I told them while we were walking on the campus' premise.
"We almost left you on the street."
"Sa susunod iiwan ka na talaga namin, Blake."
I didn't mind them and continued walking while a smile was slowly kissing my lips. I'm confident because I know that they will never do that.
"Yo!" I group of people greeted us as we reached the engineering department. It's just eight in the morning but the hallway is already packed with people. Some were waiting for their classes to start while some were just hanging out with their friends.
This is the usual scenario in the university. It's full of groups of people who were trying to survive with their friends.
"Matutulog ako. Wake me up when September ends." I told Aiden the moment I sat on the chair.
"Tanga. July pa lang." he said. I guess he didn't get the joke.
I don't know if I really fell asleep or I was hallucinating but I just found myself glaring at Red when he slapped my arm.
"Umayos ka." he hissed even before I could lash out on him. Fuck.
I moved my head and massaged my nape to take my usual self back because I felt like I left it somewhere else.
"Mr. Bautista asked me to bring this worksheet to you because he was called for an emergency meeting. Who's the captain of this class?"
I stopped on my track when I heard a familiar voice coming from the person, who is now standing on the platform in front of the lecture room. I don't even need to look at them to know who it was.
"Damn." I said under my breath. My sleepiness suddenly flew out of the window when I looked at the person. Lalo na noong magtama ang mga mata namin.
Are you kidding me? Why is this man suddenly everywhere?
"I'll leave this to you. Mr. Bautista wants you to collect these after the class." he said in his deep voice as he talked to the captain of our class.
I sat straight when I realized that I was sitting loosely since earlier I woke up.
"You all have to participate and do this. Do not let anyone sleep in the class." my eyebrows knitted when his gaze went from Bryan to me.
I unconsciously closed my fists when he looked at me coldly through his glasses. I raised my eyebrow when he remained looking at me as if his last statement was said directly to me.
"Gago. Ikaw yata 'yung pinaparinggan, Blake. Sa 'yo nakatingin." Aiden said teasingly, which is why I turned to him.
"Tusukin ko mata niya, eh." I turned to the man again and looked at him arrogantly.
The side of his lips turned upward slightly as if he was suppressing a smirk.
Ano ngayon kung natutulog ano kanina? Hindi pa naman 'yun class time.
I took a deep breath and stood up. Tangina, ngayon pa talaga ako naiihi.
"Hoy, bawal lumabas." I heard Aiden said.
"Bathroom." I simply said and walked away because I can't take it anymore. Puputok na ang pantog ko.
I thought I could peacefully go out without anyone pestering me, but I was wrong.
"Where do you think you're going?"
Nandito na pala siya sa may pintuan nakatayo at mukhang walang balak na palabasin ako.
