Dokja's POV:

The flight was long and annoying. The plane was comfortable, with lavish recliners and couches for seats, and five star meal services. It would normally make Dokja excited, but not here.
When he tried to sit down on a chair Joonghyuk grabbed him by the wrist and directed him to the couch. He sat down and then yanked Dokja across his lap. He tried to get up but Joonghyuk just held his waist so he couldnt move.
"Let go you bastard! I'm not going to lay across your lap this entire flight!"
"Hmm, I don't know I'm pretty comfortable, maybe a kiss would change my mind?"
Dokja immediately went red in a mixture of anger and embarrassment.
    "Like hell I'd kiss you."
"Come on, just a small peck on the cheek? Then I'll let you sit anywhere you want."
Dokja knew he wasn't gonna get anywhere arguing with this mad man. He debated what was worse, and decided a kiss on the cheek was the lesser of two evils when compared with spending a 14 hour flight stuck on his lap.
He did it so quickly that even he wasn't sure it counted as a kiss, but Joonghyuk kept his word and released him.
He immediately went to a seat farthest away from him, but Joonghyuk followed and sat in the seat next to him.
"I admit I'm a little disappointed, that was such a quick kiss, have you ever kissed anyone on the lips before?"
Dokja shuddered, he didn't want to dwell on the answer to that, so he just ignored the question.
Dokja decided he needed to take the initiative to make his situation better.
"How about we make another deal."
   Dokja proposed to the esper.
   Joonghyuk smiled at him,
"What's cooking up in that mind of yours now?"
"I can tell you have a lot of questions for me. I don't really feel inclined to answer, but if you agree not to touch me without my permission, I'll agree to answer one question a day. If you touch me then you don't get to ask a question for that day, so today you won't get a question cause you've already touched me." Dokja said
"Hmm, I see you're good at weighing your options. Very well, but I can ask about anything. If you refuse to answer, or answer dishonestly, I get ten minutes to do whatever I want or, you have to accept one penalty from me for a day." Joonghyuk said the last part suggestively, and it made Dokja worried.
"Only five minutes, and nothing... sexual." Dokja countered in a whisper. Sangah was sitting in the back of the plane while they were at the front, but he didn't want her hearing this conversation.
"Oh? What do you consider "sexual" Joonghyuk whispered back with a sensual voice into his ear.
    Dokja gulped nervously.
"N-Nothing below the belt." Dokja managed to eep out.
"We have a deal then." Joonghyuk leaned over and kissed him on the lips, before Dokja could pull away he grabbed the back of his head and held him there as he deepened the kiss.
Joonghyuk forced his tongue in and that was when Dokja had enough. He bit down hard and Joonghyuk pulled back.
He had a trickle of blood running down his mouth. "Don't you think that was a little much?" The esper said with a scowl.
"Funny, I was gonna say the same to you."
"I don't get to ask a question today, so I figured I'd take what I could get."
Dokja hated how cocky the esper was.
He was about to retort when the flight attendant from earlier stopped by. "Would you like to order lunch sir?"
"Yes I'll have a medium rare steak with a side of asparagus."
"And what would you like to order for your guide?" The attendant asked Joonghyuk, completely ignoring Dokja.
"Umm, excuse me, this guide can speak for himself." Dokja interjected indignantly.
"Oh umm... of course..." the attendant didn't seem to know what to do, as if a guide had never spoken to her before and she was just finding out they could speak.
She glanced between Joonghyuk and Dokja, seemingly asking Joonghyuk if it was okay to speak to him.
"It's alright, I apologize for the unorthodox behavior, my guide hasn't been trained yet."
Dokja felt ice cold fury burn through his veins. This was everything he always feared being a guide would be like.
"Excuse me?! I'm not some fucking pet!"
"Of course you're not, calm down."
Dokja couldn't stand this bastard's passive attitude as if this was all perfectly normal.
"He'll have the same as me."  Joonghyuk said with a calm voice.
    "Bastard!"
"What's wrong? Do you not like steak? Or is it the asparagus? You really need to eat more vegetables, I saw how your kitchen was stocked at your apartment, you can't live off instant ramen."
"You know that isn't why I'm angry. Don't you dare speak for me."
Joonghyuk turned to the attendant who was looking extremely uncomfortable at this point, 'Good,' Dokja thought, she made Dokja uncomfortable too.
"Please go get our order, and a bottle of wine." Joonghyuk told her as if the conversation hadn't happened.
She scurried away as Dokja's anger continued to build inside him.
"Don't you think you overreacted? She was just doing her job like how she normally does. It's common for espers to order for their guides."
"Don't you think I know that? I've seen it plenty of times. Guides being treated like second class citizens! Like we don't have our own voices and opinions!"
Dokja didn't know how the esper couldn't understand why he was mad. It was like they lived in two separate worlds.
"I didn't order for you because I thought you didn't have your own thoughts, I ordered for you because I want to take care of you and I know your diet needs more protein and vegetables." Joonghyuk said in a dismissive voice again.
"I'm a grown adult, I can take care of myself!"
"I've spent two months learning everything I can about you. You're a chronic workaholic with only one friend prior to your little trip to New York. You drink way too much coffee and energy drinks, I'm frankly amazed you haven't had a heart attack...."
The bastard kept drowning on and on, nagging him about his lifestyle as if he was a little kid.
Even if he was right, and some of his lifestyle choices were unhealthy, it didn't give him the right to forcefully change them, but what could he expect when that was the entire nature of this relationship. This one plane ride was like a preview of how this entire dynamic was going to work.
He had to make deals just for some personal space. He had to explain why he should be allowed to make his own decisions.
Well, if that's the way he wanted to play, then Dokja needed to start scheming.
He may not be able to runaway due to his friends being in danger, but maybe he could push the esper's buttons until he just gave up on interacting with him. Then he would only come to him when he needs guiding and leave him alone the rest of the time.
He wasn't gonna be the obedient pet, he'd be untamable until this stubborn esper gave in and loosened his leash.
"I'm gonna go sit with Sangah." Before Joonghyuk could argue Dokja was already halfway down the aisle towards the back of the plane.
"Glad you could slip away." Sangah greeted Dokja.
Even though her voice sounded the same as usual, there was something about her that seemed... different.
"Are you sure Joonghyuk didn't do something to you when you guys were in the limo?" Dokja asked, he was worried for his friend.
"I promise I'm ok, like I said, I'm much more concerned for you. I saw how.... touchy, he's been with you."
"I can handle him, I've come up with a strategy."
"Oh? What's your brilliant plan this time?"
"Just piss him off until he realizes I'm not worth the effort." Dokja shrugged
Sangah visibly paled, "I'm not sure that's a good idea Dokja. You don't know how he might react."
"To be honest... that's also why I want to push him to his limits. I want to see what he's like at his worst. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't scared, but you know, "better the devil you know" right?" He gave a nervous smile.
"Besides, if he claims he wants to "train" me then he needs to know just what he's up for. I'm not gonna let that bastard humiliate me without putting up one hell of a fight."
