Episode 13: Traitors and Cheats

Hiccup: Why? (Torsten looked at him with sadness.) Where is she Torsten?

Tuff: Um Hiccup she's at his hut on his island.

Ruff: Yeah Hiccup pay attention.

Torsten: All she told me is she can't face Astrid and Hiccup. Mentioned them by name.

Hiccup: Is that her travel pack?

Torsten: Yeah.

Hiccup: Can I see it?

Torsten: Yeah. (Hiccup takes the pack and looks inside. Something clicks)

Hiccup: Torsten why don't you stay here and plan the wedding with Tuff and Ruff. Bo will probably miss Aquantis so Astrid and I will bring her back to her.

Astrid: But Hiccup—

Hiccup: Astrid... Bo was scared to tell us— We need to talk to her alone. Saddle up.

[Back to Viggo and Bodil]

Viggo: Your move. It was a valiant attempt Bodil... but it was always a lost cause.

Bodil: Was it?

Viggo: That's impossible... I had you. I haven't lost a game since I was a boy. How?

Bodil: You know precision... Pinpoint accuracy takes more than just strength. It takes intelligence, focus, patience, and determination. You have to know your opponent better than you know yourself. Wind and men aren't so different. They can work with you or against you. I have an intelligence level that rivals your own. I just choose when to reveal it. I've been playing maces and talons since I was 5 years old. It's not a complicated game or strategy. Make your opponent believe they've won while underhandedly taking the victory from them.

Viggo: Well played. Unfortunately you still lose. My brother will live but I never said I'd let you leave. And it's just the two of us now.

Bodil: Is it? See I never promised to come without backup did I?

Viggo: Heh how would Hiccup find you unless Torsten told him. He'd immediately break the rules.

Bodil: No you specifically said he couldn't give them any hints you never said I couldn't.

Viggo: How would you have done that? You still have your necklace. There is no way for him to know.

Bodil: Actually, I wouldn't walk into a trap without bringing insurance. I switched the necklaces and put the real one in my bag. If I'm correct Hiccup should be on his way here. In fact if my calculations are correct he should already be here. Although I have been known to miscalculate.

Hiccup: Now Toothless! (Bodil dives out of the way as Toothless shoots down at Viggo.)

Bodil: But apparently not now.

Astrid: Stormfly spine shots!

Bodil: Aquantis!

Hiccup: Viggo!

Viggo: You got lucky today Hiccup! But Project Shellfire will be your demise. And you can count on that!

Astrid: Let him go Hiccup.

Hiccup: Ahhh. (They all landed Bodil ran into Hiccup's arms. When he finally released her she turned around and hugged Astrid.)

Astrid: I'm so glad you're ok.

Hiccup: Yeah... don't do that ever again.

Bodil: No promises. (He gave her another hug.)

Hiccup: Come on... let's get you back to the edge.
