Episode 13: Traitors and Cheats

Bodil: Alright Girl... highest alert. (They land on the island. She and Aquantis creep up. She hears a noise behind her. She throws a warning knife that soars past his ear) Hello Viggo. (He smirks...)

Viggo: Bodil... so glad you could join the party. (He gestures to a place in the distance where Torsten is being held captive.)

Astrid: It's not right Hiccup. At least let me go and just do a stealth check. Make sure she's alright. Stormfly can track her and—

Hiccup: No. If she was in danger Bodil would send word. She promised she said if she was even suspicious she'd let me know.

Astrid: What if she got kidnapped? What if she got trapped immediately? What if—

Hiccup: Astrid please! I'm worried about her too, but we have to just trust Bo.

Tuffnut: Ugh what's the feeling I'm feeling? Like I'm sweating all over. I can't stop thinking about Bo leaving... ugh I feel terrible. Someone help me!

Fishlegs: Tuffnut that sounds like fear. You're afraid that Bodil's in danger...

Tuff: No no that can't be right.

Snotlout: You guys calm down! STOP FREAKING OUT! Everyone and everything is going to be just fine!! OR GOBBER WILL HAVE ALL OF OUR HEADS!!

Hiccup: Snotlout that's really not helping.

Snotlout: He's going to cook us like his famous yak stew.

Tuff: I figured it out guys— it's fear. I'm just worried.

Astrid: Hey Bo's going to be just fine. Right Hiccup?

Hiccup: Yeah she's probably on her way back right now.

Viggo: Take a seat Bo. So you knew who it was all along?

Bodil: Please, I wrote to Torsten for over 6 months. And while you were very thorough I can notice the few discrepancies in your handwriting.

Viggo: You are as smart as they say I guess.

Bodil: No, I'm much smarter actually. What do you want Viggo?

Viggo: I want to make you a deal. You see that boy over there... That's my little brother. (Bodil's eyes grew wide as she looked over at Torsten.)

Torsten: Bo listen I can explain....

Viggo: See we had a spy of our own. At first, we just wanted the great protector but when Little T found out that you'd be coming he begged me to let him join the big leagues. So we told him to choose one of the riders to get close to. I expected him to choose Hiccup or the blonde, Astrid is it, but no... our dear beloved brother chose you.

Bodil: Why are you telling me this?

Viggo: Well recently he revealed he didn't want to help us anymore... we had planned for him to trick you into thinking you were betrothed to lure you out in the open so we could take you easily. Then all he had to do was distract Hiccup while you were alone. It was a brilliant plan until someone actually fell in love... (Torsten puts his head down.) He came back and told us he wouldn't help us anymore. Which makes him a traitor. And you know what we do with traitors.

Bodil: What does that have to do with me?

Viggo: I wanna test out a theory... are you willing to save the traitor? Even when he was working against you instead of with you.

Bodil: State your terms.

Viggo: Maces and Talons, if you win I'll let Torsten go and live out the rest of his life untouched by me or anyone on my crew.
