"Wouldn't it be creepy if we follow them?" hindi siguradong saad ko.
"Right. Let's just make sure na hindi sila susundan nong hayop."
That's what we did. We stayed there for minutes just to make sure that the asshole is still inside the cafe while the two successfully left the place.
"Finally!" ngumisi ako kay Leigh at umupo sa tabi niya. Sinalinan niya ng inomin ang isang baso at ibinigay sa akin.
We are now at the bar and we saw our friends enjoying themselves at the corner. Yes, corner. We usually sit where only a few people would notice us. That's why people think we have a lot of women because they see us talking to them most of the time. But we are just clearly being polite and welcoming.
"Where's my card?" I heard Ram asked Aiden but I didn't mind them at inisang inom ang pangalawang baso ko ng martini.
I want to get wasted tonight. And this is what I like about going to bars. The liquor, the music, the lights, and the people dancing on the dancefloor. It just feels real and fun. To be able to have this kind of lifestyle somehow makes something bearable. It balances my life. It's also one of the reasons why I'm a varsity player in our university. To have fun while trying to survive engineering.
"Blake, someone's asking for your name." I put my arms on the armrest of the sofa where we were sitting and looked at Cleo, one of our acquaintances, who just went here to tell me that. "Actually, kayong lahat. They were asking if it's okay to join you guys here."
"No." I smirked and looked at Cleo when Kiel responded for us.
"You heard Kiel."
Ayaw niya na may dumadagdag when we are supposed to enjoy this with just our circle of friends. Kami lang daw dapat.
"Maybe next time, Cle." Ram declined politely, so he nodded his head and left.
"Hindi talaga pumunta si Red?" I asked Elijah, who is now looking nowhere.
Hours had passed and he was just sitting quietly beside Nathan, refusing to talk.
"May nakita ka bang Red dito?" my lips parted because of his response. He sounded so sarcastic that I unconsciously held my chest while looking at him unbelievably.
"Bakit ang sama ng ugali mo? Inano ka?"
If it was a random person who responded that way when I asked them a question, I'd probably get offended, but since it's Elijah, it's fine. I am actually so close to laughing because he looks so pissed as he looked nowhere.
May nalaman 'to.
"Sinong nanakit sa 'yo?" I dodged when he stretched his hand out. "I'm kidding—"
"Hey." our table turned silent when two women materialized out of nowhere.
My eyebrows knitted when one of them looked familiar.
Oh.
"Do you know that your boyfriend is cheating on you?" everyone turned more silent because of her question.
Fuck. I know now why she looked familiar. This was the woman at the parking lot.
"Ako?" I pointed myself unbelievably. The fuck.
Boyfriend? I don't have a boyfriend.
"Obviously."
My jaw almost dropped when she looked straight into my eyes. "What?"
