"Pati sila, ikaw ang magbabayad?" I whispered kaya tinignan niya ang mga kasama namin at ngumiwi.
"No! Ram's money is exclusive for us only." he said, which made me smile smugly.
Among all of us, Ram is the most generous when it comes to money. He never said no whenever we asked him to buy us something or to treat us. Although it's not always because we have our own money, pero minsan kasi mas masarap kapag libre.
"Blake, can you do this one for me?" my eyebrows furrowed when someone interrupted my talk with Aiden. I raised my head and looked at the man in front of us.
I took his MacBook from him without saying anything.
"Order for us. I'll start doing this." I told Aiden. Sumunod naman siya nang hindi man lang tinanong kung anong gusto ko.
Kapag siya nag-order na naman ng hindi ko gusto, baka ibalibag ko sa kanya 'tong MacBook ng mayabang na nasa harapan ko. Palagi niyang ginagawa 'yan, ang bumili ng mga hindi ko gusto. There was one time when I told him to order cookies and cream flavored ice cream for me, he ordered mint choco flavored instead. Yung flavor na lasang toothpaste.
Aiden and I have been friends for almost a decade now and he knows the things I like and the things I don't like, but he will always choose those I don't like to piss me off.
"Ang ingay." asar na saad niya halos dalawang oras ang makalipas sa tabi ko habang nagtatype ng report at tinignan ang babae na nakaupo malapit sa lamesa namin. Tinignan ko rin ito dahil kanina pa nga ito nagsasalita habang ang kasama naman niya ay nakatingin lamang sa kanya. Magdadalawang oras na kami rito at parang hindi siya napapagod kakatalak.
"Women can be loud sometimes. It's okay." Bryan said. I nodded my head and went back to doing my thing.
"Maingay talaga ang mga babae." napatigil ako dahil sa sinabi ng isa naming kasama at uminit ang tenga ko nang nasundan ng halakhak ang sinabi niya.
"What do you mean?"
"You know... especially in bed. That woman is no different for sure." I scoffed and looked smugly at him.
"Really? The woman is innocently talking to her friend, but you still got to sexualize her? Libog na libog, pre?" I chuckled without humor.
This is pissing me off. I suddenly want to punch someone.
"What? Did I stutter?" Ang yabang. Tangina.
"You did not, but you sounded so stupid." I clicked my tongue and looked at the woman, who is now oblivious to this man's prejudice against her.
I don't like it when men sexualize women. They are not a weapon to satisfy men's sexual desires. I feel bad for women who are innocently existing, waking, and talking, but need to deal with these kinds of people. Women should walk freely without the fear of getting sexualized and hurt by men.
"You are acting like you never touched bitches." my hands that were typing earlier stopped. I closed them to compose myself.
"Blake..." I heard Aiden said to stop me from clapping back but I was too pissed.
"I touched women, yes, but I don't touch and sexualize women who are obviously scared of men like you."
Yes, I am attracted to women. Yes, I had flings, and I definitely touched and kissed them, but I never objectified and forced them into doing something that would make them uncomfortable. I always make sure that everything's not one-sided. If the woman says no, I back off.
