It’s not too much to ask for
Just one wish
I want many things
But I know whether I say it or not it will not come true
My heart slowly aches as I hear your voice
It aches as you don’t notice
It aches when you speak about her
It aches when I’m considered a sister
My heart quickens every time you answer
It quickens every time I think of you
It quickens when you say my name
It quickens when I imagine your smile
My heart is torn every time you talk about her
Torn when I see her name
Torn when I hear her name spoken
Torn when you say you love her
I don’t like the pain I feel inside
I don’t like how I have to hide
Don’t like how I can’t trust anyone
Don’t like how no one cares
You say you understand
But if you did
I wouldn’t be sat here writing this
This might be a complete waste of time
But I guess the only thing I forgot to say is that
