Capture the Flag Pt. 2

Mike turned around to prepare for the sneak attack, but no one was there. He now had his back turned to Erwin who fired a water ballon at him. Armin, on the other hand, knew this was coming and ducked. The water balloon missed him, but Mike was hit. Mike fell to the ground with a thud while Erwin crept out from the shadows.

Armin was beginning to freak out because he was unarmed. However, he tried his best not to let it show.

"I see we have a smart guy here," Erwin smirked.

"So?" Armin asked as he stepped backwards.

Erwin bent down to pay Armin's head. "So good job kid. Unfortunately, not good enough."

Armin's eyes widened as he felt water douse his torso. Erwin stepped away from Armin, leaving him in disbelief. He looked down at his white shirt. There was a damp water stain on his stomach. He touched it lightly before falling to his knees.

"H-how could this happen?" He croaked before collapsing to the ground.

However, by doing so, he set off a trap and had a bucket of water balloons dumped on him.

"Oh, come on!" Armin whined.

Reiner and Erd sneaked down a separate path to get to the house. The smaller street led him right behind the defense team. They were about to sneak in past the defense, but Reiner stopped behind the bush and aimed his water gun at somebody.

"Um, kid?" Erd asked. "What are you doing?"

"Targeting that colossal booty," Reiner responded.

"Alright?" Erd said uncomfortably before entering base.

Reiner aimed and fired at Bertolt's ass and he immediately turned around as if he was just assaulted.

Bertolt was not very happy. Not to mention he was also as red as a fire truck. "Reiner! I knew it was you!"

"Got the flag!" Erd shouted while running away from Ymir and Connie.

"People!" Hanji exclaimed in excitement. She held in her hands a device that was far from a water gun.

Reiner stated at the thing. "What the hell is that?"

"Rapid fire water balloon launcher," Hanji replied with excitement.

"I'm screwed," Reiner stated.

And indeed he was. Water balloons were launched from Hanji's weapon without mercy. They struck Reiner with a force that stunned him.

"Un, can you stop pummeling him now?" Bertolt ask. "Reiner's kind of important to me..."

"I would kid," Hanji said. "But I don't know how to stop this thing..."

Bertolt gasped in terror at the sight of the boy curling up into a ball and being traumatized as he were hit with 4 water balloons a second.

"I GOT THE FLAAAGGGGG!" Erd shouted as he ran down the street.

"Erd you idiot!" Petra shouted at him.

Erd himself was brought down by Levi with water gun.

"What do we do now, Big Bro?" Isabel asked. Somehow, Levi, Isabel, and Farlan managed to get cornered by the blue team.

"We fight back!" Levi shouted as he ran into battle. He managed to get Sasha out before turning around to a horrifying sight.

Isabel smiled at him after getting she saw him get someone out, but she didn't realize that Mikasa was behind her with a water balloon. Mikasa immediately launched the balloon at Isabel and it struck her back.

Isabel's cheery expression turned into fear as she fell onto the concrete blacktop. "Big... bro..." she reached out.

Farlan saw this as well, but he also saw Gunther coming for Levi with a water balloon in each hand.

"LEVI!" He shouted as he pushed Levi aside, getting hit himself. Farlan looked down to see that his midsection had been hit. He held his torso as he winced in pain, but through the pain, he gave Levi a confident smile.

"You got this," he said before collapsing to the ground himself.

Levi stared at his friends, both taken down before his eyes. Immediately, he felt himself become overcome with a blinding rage. He got Mikasa and Gunther out with no problem. However, Erwin, on the other hand, was harder to get out.

"You have done well, Levi," he said.

"Shut up, you bastard!" Levi snapped back. He then pulled out his water gun and fired it at Erwin.

Erwin stumbled backwards, and lightly touched his wound. "I see how it is," Erwin stated, but then, he smirked. "But you're too late! We have sacrificed ourselves to be a part of the diversion to keep the strongest at bay. The red flag is being brought to the blue base as we speak."

Levi felt a cold dampness spread from behind. He turned around to see Petra holding a water gun. "And I was a part of that diversion."

"Petra... why?" Levi asked in pain.

Petra put on some shades and held up her water gun. "Because I can be bad censor word."

Levi stated at Petra for a second in confusion. "What?"

"She means badass," Erwin clarified.

"I don't say bad words!" Petra defended herself.

Armin stepped onto a stool and held in his hand, a medal that said "1st" on it.

"We have had a successful 3rd Annual Capture the Flag game," Armin announced."Because it didn't rain today and the forecast for 90% chance of rain was a total lie."

Everyone cheered.

"Also!" Armin continued. "We had some guests who truly turned the game into something probably more exciting than it would have been. So thanks for joining us and we hope you'll be up for it next year as well."

"Yeah!" Connie and Sasha shouted at once.

"It was nice to have difficult competition for once," Mikasa stated.

"So?" Hanji and Erwin glanced over at Levi, still as expressionless as ever. "What do you say?"

Levi sighed. "Fine." The instant he said that, all of the sophomores cheered in happiness.

"And now," Armin took out the medal. "We award Jean Kirschtein for leading his team to victory and being the one who brought home the flag."

Jean stepped up and accepted his medal. "FOR SPARTA!"

"FOR SPARTA!" His team shouted.

"I will defeat him next time," Eren whispered angrily.

"And you're going down you big-ass tree," Levi sneered at Erwin. "You stupid bastard with your big-ass brain and your smart-ass plans..."
