the next morning

" Nina, wake up."
" Nina! Hey! I have made breakfast."
" Aaron? Why are you waking me up so early?!" I spoke to him in my sleep.
" It's not early, it's 8 am."
" 8 am is considered early."
" Fine, sorry, I have to get to work."
" What? It's Sunday."
" I know, but I have to go. I will drop you home along my way to my office. Get ready."
" God , no one let's me sleep."
He kissed me on my cheek. I was in his shirt, which reached almost till my knees. I walked out of the bed like a zombie. I freshened up and went to the kitchen counter.
" You made pancakes?"
" Yeah "
" I love them!"
" Have as much as you want."
" Thank you."
He was getting ready while I was eating. He was continuously talking on his phone even while changing his clothes.
" Didn't you hear me? I want those details on my table before I get there. Where is the feedback for the Kave's?"
" I said , I needed it to make changes. I have to do it by next week, get it done. Add Mr.Rick on the call."
" Mr. Rick, the invitation list, I have shortlisted the people. Take it from my desk and start working. I am reaching there soon."
I finished and went to him.
" Aaron, you don't have to wait for me, you can leave, it seems you are busy "
" No, it's my everyday life. The opening in Paris, it's a little hectic and we have less time, that's why all this."

" Yeah, and I am not leaving without you reaching home."
" Aaron, you don't have to do that. I can go by myself. You should be there at work."

He was stubborn as hell.
I got dressed as quickly as I can and we left his home.

We kissed each other one last time before getting down from his car.

I had the time of my life with him. I wanted to see him very soon. I had to hide my hickey with my hair before entering the house.
I slept on my bed thinking about him and our time spent together.
I called Jane cause I wasn't able to hold it in anymore.
" Jane Jane!"
" Tell me everything!"

I narrated the whole story to her in very detail. She was so happy and excited for us. But was there any us? Like at all? He said he loves me. Do I love him too? I don't know. I do like him. But I don't know.
" Hey Nina, do you need the marketing job in my company?" He called me.
" Yeah I do, but I want to earn this, I don't want you to give me."
" Fine, then I will arrange an interview for you. Would you come?"
" Sure. when?"
" According to you. Tell me when should I tell the interviewer to come?"
" Aaron! No. I need the job. Don't use your power."
" Fine. Fine , I will text you the details."
" Nina. I want to see you."

" You are yet to see more, when should I come to see you today?"

" Yay" I got a little too excited.
" I will try to get off work early and come to get you okay?"

I was excited like a little kid to see him again. I got ready and waited in the living room looking at the door. I heard the car honk. I told my mom that I was going shopping.

" Hii!" I hopped in his car.
" Hii!"
He kissed me.
" So where to go?"
" I will show you."
" What do you want to buy?"
" Some clothes, I need to buy something for the interview."
" Nina, you don't have to do that, you can get in--"
" Aaron! I told you earlier--"
" Yes I know. Let's go."
We both left for shopping. I guided him to my usual store.
We entered the store and I started looking something good. I wandered around and he followed me.
" Hey, look at that dress , I like it." Aaron said pointing at the red cocktail dress.
" Yeah, not bad , let me try it."
" Sure "
I handed him my purse and went in the changing room.
" Do you want any help of mine?"
Aaron asked me grinning.
" No thanks."
I opened the door to show him the dress.
" How do I look?"
" Wonderful" he said with flattering eyes.
He took my hands in his.
" You look gorgeous honey."
" Thank you. I think I am going to buy this?"
" Think? We are taking this. Now let's have some coffee."
" What? Are you kidding?!" I started laughing.
" What's so funny in this?" He was so confused.
" We just came in. We don't select the first dress we see. I need to look for options and then select one."
" Why? Take them all, whatever you want."
" Aaron we can't do that."
" I can , just point at whichever you want."
" Aaron, no! Stop , let me look for some more , hold this one."
I kept the red dress on his arm and started looking again. I kept on trying few dresses and tops and he kept pilling clothes in his hands.
" Now Aaron, the most important decision."
" What?"
" Okay look, do you like this one or the red one. "
" Let's take both."
" Aaron, one!"
" Both. If you want I can buy the whole store for you."
" Aaron, no stop!" I started laughing.
" I am not joking. Wait." He called the store manager.
" Manager? I want to buy everything in this women's clothing section. Make the bill."
" Aaron! No, no sir , we are not, I am so sorry for this."
" Nina,--"
" What would you take to stop this?"
" Let me buy all of these for you."
He showed me the pile in his hands.
" Those are just the clothes I selected, now we have to reselect from these."
" Are you letting me buy these or the whole women's section? Decide."
" Aaron!"
" Answer faster."
He is so stubborn!
" Fine , go, buy them."
" That's my girl." He kissed my cheek and went over to pay the bill.

I handed him the shopping bags.
" Carry them, stubborn man."
He insisted on buying all of these , let him hold those.
" As you wish." He followed me like a puppy.
" Aaron wait here."
" Why? "
" Just do as I say "
I made him sit on a bench and I went over to a coffee shop to buy him some coffee.
I got coffee for us and reached there
" Here is your reward." I said.
I handed him the coffee.
" Thank you. But only this?"
" What else do you want?"
" You know baby."
" Aaron, we are in a public place!"
" No one's watching "
" Aaron--"
We both were shopping from so long and now it was time to go home.
He was driving and I was talking about something when My phone started ringing. It was my mom.
" Nina where are you?" My mom asked and she didn't sound pleasant.
" I was shopping, I am coming home now."
" Why didn't you receive my calls earlier ?"
" Sorry we were shopping so I didn't hear the ring."
" We? Who are you with?!"
" Ah -- I am alone."
" Is Aaron with you?"

" Yeah , don't worry we resolved our fight and he is dropping me home."

" What happened?" He asked while taking the car aside.

" Now get out of the car. Right now!"
" Mom, what are you doing?!"

I did as she said. Aaron followed me.
" Nina, what's wrong?" He asked.
" I don't know Aaron. Mom, what's going on?!"
" Take a cab and come home right now. Stay away from him do you understand me?"
" Mom , are you serious?! What happened tell me right now?!"
" Nina, should I send your dad there?"

" Then come fast. Now , take a cab. And stay away from Aaron."

Aaron kept asking me , but even I didn't have any idea what she was talking about.
