251.Chocolate desserts

Looking at the gloomy weather, Jin switched the news in the car. But before he could change it to weather updates, his attention was stuck to a particular piece of news.

'The life of a celebrity could not be any more unpredictable. The infamous A-list Actress XX has committed suicide after being rejected for three films consecutively. It is being said that she could not take her failures very well. Her manager has revealed to the media that although she was still acting very normal after the rejections, but there were small changes in her behavior...'

Jin's focus was on the former part of the news. He quickly turned off the radio before glancing at the woman sitting on the shotgun seat. She was looking out of the window and he could not tell what was going on in her mind.

Her face was now cleaned and he could not see a hint of makeup on her flawless face. He has always seen her with lots of makeup, he could not help but be amazed by her natural beauty.

He was alarmed thinking about how desperately she was crying in the car. From the dark circle under her eyes, he concluded she has not got a good sleep in the past few days...

Is she also facing problems in her career?

Various doubts revolved around his mind but he could not be sure. In the end, he decided to stay with her for now. What if she did something like that actress? No no!

So, he decided that he will stay with her for now. After that, he could be her strongest backer, boyfriend, husband, whatever she wanted him to be and he will then help her with his problems.

'If I failed to help her... then, I'll use my power. I am still the V.P of Ashy and Second Young Master Jeon. Who will dare to offend me? I'll give her everything she wants," he dreamily sighed at the thought of it.

Jisoo weirdly looked at him. God knows what is cooking up in his mind!

"You did not need to bring all these," Master Gong said as he looked at the presents that the butler just brought from Jungkook's car trunk.

Old Master Gong nodded.

Lisa sighed, "I wanted to visit you a long time ago but I was busy with the company matters. It's him," She pointed her chin towards her man who was back to his cold and unapproachable self before continuing, "If not for him being considerate and bringing me here, I would have forgotten about... cough.." She stopped herself from speaking 'forgotten about you' hen Master Gong glared at her grievously.

Gong Yoo glanced at his 'dear son-in-law' who has bewitched his daughter so much so that she was singing praises about him before sighing helplessly.

He was well aware of everything Jungkook was doing for his daughter which is why he did not vent his frustration on the man.

While Jungkook protects Lisa, Gong Yoo was investigating about the mastermind behind the Kingsman Faction. He wanted to find out why exactly is that person targeting his princess.

Old Master Gong poked his son's shoulder bringing the man out of his daze. The old man whispered something in his ear to which Master Gong's face turned solemn as he nodded before turning to look at the couple, "I'll be back," he murmured before walking upstairs.

Lisa looked at Jungkook curiously while the man narrowed his eyes before shrugging off.

Old Master Gong smiled looking at them before glancing at his granddaughter, "I have already commanded the chef to prepare the dinner according to your liking." He said.

Lisa shook her head, "We won't be staying for that long," She was already curious about the person who was going to come to their villa today.

Jungkook has been quite secretive about it so she couldn't help but be curious about what was going on in his head.

"Oh... That's a pity," Grandpa Kim sighed regretfully, "The chef is preparing all kinds of chocolate desserts for you like chocolate brownies, chocolate pastry, chocolate fudge..."

"We're staying for dinner," Lisa said without a crack on her calm face.

Jungkook glanced at her with amusement as he pursed his lips. This woman...She could be easily kidnapped if the kidnapper offered her some chocolate desserts.

Old Master Gong controlled the victorious smirk that was creeping its way on his lips. Despite knowing his granddaughter for a few days, he knew got to know about the keys to happiness. the first one is the Mo brat and the second is sweets.

Soon, Master Gong came back from upstairs. Lisa glanced at the man as he walked down the grand staircase and as if he noticed her piercing gaze, he turned to her as his lips tugged up in a warm smile.

Lisa felt a sliver of warmth spreading through a chest. She wondered if this was how a father makes you feel. That smile made her feel a sense of security.

Master Gong walked towards them before glancing at the butler, the warmth from earlier was long gone as he glanced at the servants walking in the room before looking back at the small exquisite box in his hand.

The old butler was experienced enough to understand his Master's order as he bowed his head in respect before retreating back.

Within a few minutes, the grand living room was empty. All the servants were dismissed of their duties as only four people were left the enormous hall.

Jungkook raised an eyebrow as he glanced at his 'father-in-law' before looking at the box in his hands. He of course recognized the thing and the cold look in his eyes faded.

No matter father or grandfather, after witnessing Lisa getting attacked again and again right in front of his eyes, he could not help be wary of everything. He did not trust anybody except for Grandpa Kim and her brother when it came to Lisa's safety.

Old Master Gong stood up as he walked towards his son before standing beside him.

Master Gong sighed before speaking up, "Princess, this is..."
