a hand moved to your neck.

'but....to the neck..? and i couldn't describe it but...it felt different.'

you have the impression whatever caused this was because of one of Ruby's teammates.

never the less, you took a dep breathe, and laid there.

you wouldn't be able to get back to sleep now.

"we haven't seen you in a while, team leader." Alice spoke to you lightly patting your head.

'i've always wanted to do that.'

you looked up at her with a partially dead expression.

"i compiled some notes for you from today's lessons by the way."

you nodded your head giving her a thumbs u-

you got tackled to the floor.

"I MISSED YOU BEST BUDDY!"

Onyx had full on body checked you and hugged you.

"ONYX! get off of him!" a hand to the collar yanked him off you.

none other than Claire was here now.

you noticed Ruby and her team also arrive.

you stayed on the floor, not wanting to move anymore.

Ruby moved over and stood over you, kneeling down and being eye to eye with you.

"are you okay?"

you blinked.

"yeah, i figured so. you look dead inside after that."

Ruby offered a hand, but instead of taking it, you moved your head up into it, now sitting up.

her hand now lay on your head as she smiled, moving her hand behind your ears and lightly scratching them causing you to basically melt into her palm.

your tail lightly swayed back and forth in response to Ruby's touch.

within a single moment, you grabbed Ruby by the waist and placed her onto your lap, your head now firmly planted on her shoulder and digging in towards her neck.

Ruby herself did not expect to suddenly be in this situation, but she accepted it never the less, placing her head on your shoulder in return.

"their cute aren't they?" Yang whispered to Blake.

Blake nodded her head, looking at the both of you.

"they are." she muttered.

Yang nudged her with her elbow and smirked, causing Blake to roll her eyes.

"no Yang, you are not cuter."

"but i'm sexi-"

Alice pulled her hand over Yang's mouth.

"there's kids around. flirt somewhere else." she spoke.

"Ruby and (Y/n) do the same thing." Weiss quickly came to the defence of Yang. surprisingly.

"when they do it, it's cute and innocent. when Yang does it, it has ulterior motive."

"that's!....fair." Yang admitted.

"exactly."

Yang elected to just stand there and watch them.

"so where did you even go last night (y/n)? you didn't even take your scroll." Claire asked
