Ruby took a glance at you.

she watched as you moved your hand to your ears and held them.

Ruby scooted closer and you rested your head on her shoulder.

"CAN YOU SHUT UP!?"

"WHY DON'T YOU!?"

the two siblings were fighting. 

again.

it's only been two days.

and they alone have given you 7 headaches.

they seem to be unaware that they hurt your ears

if they were aware, they would argue away from you.

"are you hurting you?" she softly asked in a whisper.

she could feel you nod her head on your shoulder.

with haste, she gave Yang a quick kick to the shin and glared at her.

Yang looked at her and sweat dropped.

'she's going to kill me if i don't stop them.'

Ruby then directed her glare to the siblings, who were still unaware.

"hey, you two!" Yang shouted at them, causing you to flinch from the even louder sound.

Ruby was getting very furious.

any longer and she will hit somebody.

"WHAT!?" they both looked at Yang, who folded her arms.

"your hurting your team leader."

they both stopped and looked at you.

your head was still buried into Ruby shoulder and you continued to cover your ears.

"you do know his ears are sensitive right?" Ruby asked, giving them a smile full of malice.

she moved a hand to your head and run her hand along it, trying to comfort you.

the siblings looked at each other for a second.

'shit.'

they then looked at you, Onyx took a step forward.

"sorry about that.." his voice was low. "you should have told u-"

he shut up when you shot him a harsh glare.

he took a step backwards, and you furiously wrote on your notepad.

'i did.'

he flinched slightly, remembering that you did infact tell your team on the first day during lunch.

"idiots." Alice shook her head and slapped Onyx and Claire on the back of their head. "that's because he won't do it himself."

the two siblings looked down defeated.

you buried your head further into Ruby's shoulder.

your ears still hurt a lot.

if you weren't mute, you probably would have let out a low whimper.

that thought alone made you embarrassed.

you only left her shoulder when you made it to the cafeteria.

everyone else went off ahead, but you and Ruby stayed together.

she looked at you.

"what do you want to eat?"

she handed you a small menu.

you tilted your head.

'i didn't know they had a menu, but i only have 3 options.'
