It's been a week to that incident and nothing was same as before between the brothers and Vanessa. Alejandro and Emiliano were trying their best to noy to show her how much her actions had affected them because they wanted her to heal as soon as possible and trying to keep her happy but it was not easy when something was going down.

They themselves are not able to act like nothing had happened and some times their actions and words automatically show their sadness in front of her but they are trying their best. They themselves are also disturbed after the big revelation and thinking of her and her being in future they are slipping into abyss of tension.

They took her to the hospital that day and made the doctors check her once, twice and thrice. They have warned her to check her up properly and they want her exact reports of her condition. The staff was so much scared of them and tried to not do any  kind of mistake. The reports came after few days and they were the same.

She has low haemoglobin and very weak body to fight with the cancer. They had suggested them to feed her properly so that her body can be strong enough to fight the disease and the chemotherapy sessions time to time. So both of them have arranged a medical staff for her specially at home and a medical room with all the essential machines and tools. They didn't want to be careless about her.

Vanessa was lying on the bed weeping silently alone in a curled up ball position. Her tears were wetting her pillow completely but she cared less. Suddenly the door of her room opened which didn't affect her and she kept laying in the same position.

Alejandro and Emiliano came beside her and sat on the bed. Seeing her still crying they sighed because she had been crying like this for the past whole week which is making her more weak now. Alejandro lifted her up gently and pulled her on his lap. She didn't protest and kept her head on his chest.

"Stop crying, Amor. It is seriously draining you." he said and caressed her tangled hair softly with his fingers.

Hearing him she started sobbing more and more fresh tears rolled down her eyes. Emiliano was looking at her silently because they themselves were not in the condition to console her but still they were trying their best.

"P-P-Please I'm sorry." Vanessa apologized crying like a kid. They both sighed at her words she had repeated the same thing hundred time in a week.

"You don't need to apologize, Amor. We are not angry with you, it's just we are a little upset and shocked by the new revelation and will take time to be normal. Please don't pressurize yourself." he said and caressed her head softly.

"J-J-Joa---" she tried to say but he cut her off saying.

"He is the one to be hurt amongst us the most and will take more time to be normal. Give him some space love." he said and started swaying her side to side to calm her down.

"B-B-But he is not t-talking t-to me." Vanessa said and again started crying sobbing and hiccuping. Her condition was not good she was pressurizing herself mentally and physically. Emiliano wiped her tears and runny nose with the wipes because they were helpless too Joaquin was not listening to them either.

"P-P-Plesae ask him to t-talk to me. I'm s-sorry." she said holding her ear apologetically. Emiliano was about to say, something but as if in queue Joaquin entered inside the room gaining everyone's attention.

His gaze immediately trailed to Vanessa who was sitting in Alejandro's lap and her face was all red and tear stained. His eyes softened looking at her condition and a look of hurt crossed his face but he immediately masked it.

While Vanessa and the other two were stunned to see his battered up face with so many cuts and bruises again. Since that day he has been coming back to home in the same condition and above that drunk too. He sniffled and started walking towards the washroom but Vanessa immediately climbed down the bed and ran towards him.
