First, I’d like to thank you all for the questions—it lets me know what I need to clear up and pay more attention to: This is in Q and A format by the way: I changed up the wording a bit, and anything in brackets (other than [Name]) have been added in by me so you all can understand the question better; additionally, I combined two or more questions together because my answer overlapped both. I also referred to [Name] as [Name]—not Amaya, and Chiyoko as Chiyoko. Some answers may also be vague because of the question or/and the fact that I don’t want to spoil the story for you—so if you need elaboration, please comment below and I’ll do the best I can to make it clearer! A lot of you messaged me more than commented on the actual poll thing, and yes, I included those too ^^

Q: How come Wasurete doesn’t notice that he can’t read Chiyoko’s thoughts?

A: Since Chiyoko altered his memory into thinking she is [Name], he’s gullible towards his sister. If she lacks in anything, she places the blame on Oblivion and how she had to sacrifice some things to come back.

Q: [How] come he doesn’t listen to the real [Name]’s anymore?

A: Wasurete believes that since [Name] is a spell caster, she is messing with him. He didn’t pay attention to the fact that she’s apparently to be a newbie at it. That, and when they first met again, she trolled him.

Q: How did you come up with the idea for Treachery of Fate? + What inspired you to write this story?

A: Hmm... Well, Treachery of Fate: Blood and Betrayal originally began as an essay for my English class last year—to be specific it was chapter one. From there, I brainstormed on how I can turn it into a story, and being a giant fanfiction reader myself (of mostly reader inserts), I noticed that most of the time, the main character doesn’t have any fighting background (not counting them knowing karate or something) unless she is part of some organization sent to help the KH/FF world. I decided on giving [Name] the background then that I had already written. As for the central plot, I evolved what would be cliché stories: the best friend turned enemy, the love triangles, etc. In addition, I also tried doing things that I haven’t seen much—or at all—in other stories such as the afterschool missions, the birthday chapters, the kudans (or summons), etc. I added a lot of O.C characters, and through that [Name]’s family and their background. The whole dragon concept came from my liking of historical dramas, and the idea of rebirth where through that, I tied in Oblivion. As for Treachery of Fate: Imperfect Imposter, I was inspired through a continuous, addictive replay of the FFX saga, and since I wanted [Name] to have an actual equal in battle—Chiyoko—I decided to give her the powers I did. Ah…hopefully that made sense ^^;

Q: Is there going to be some sort of conflict between Axel and Chiyoko in Imperfect Imposter, since she broke his heart when they were younger?

A: I can’t say for sure yet, because I haven’t really thought about them. I’m trying not to use the same characters in the last book when considering drama for the story (ie: Axel, the Strifes, the Caelums).

Q: Are people going to start remembering [Name] at one at a time or are we going to have to suffer being forgotten until somewhere towards the end of Imperfect Imposter?

A: They will gradually be remembering [Name], depending on their power and attention—their attention relying on their personality.

Q: How does no one remember [Chiyoko] from before?

A: Nobody interacted with Chiyoko enough for her to be imprinted within anyone’s mind much other than the part where they were caught in the syndicate. In addition, when altering memories, she replaced what would have been her with another girl.

Q: Are they all going to believe Amaya is some kind of evil chick at some point?

A: I’m not sure yet because many of the characters have a very analytical personality. Therefore, it would take a lot for them to view her as just some evil chick. Maybe the majority will at different times though, but again, I haven’t gone that far in planning the plot yet.
