"May I?" Reeth asked with a smile
Sanskriti side-eyed.
However, that seemed like a yes and Reeth proceeded to build her tent
He built the tent in no time and Sanskriti was quite impressed by Reeth's tent-building skills
"Go finish your da*n bulls*t too, it's getting dark"
"Yeah!" he said and set off
As Sanskriti was arranging her bedding, Reeth came running with the tent equipment
"What?" Sanskriti asked judgingly
"What what?"
"Why are you here?"
"To build my tent?"
"Why here?"
"Because I want to-!"
"Fu*k off to any other place, this is mine"
"Does your dad own this land?"
"No"
"Then you can't tell me to find another place. Also, do you know that there are wild boars here and they attack humans if they are lonely?"
"What? I thought this place was safe for camping"
"It is... but for groups!"
"Are you kidding me?"
"Do I sound unserious?"
"Yes~"
"Then, you've mistaken, lady! The network is wonky, and you won't be able to ask for help too"
And Reeth started to pull his tent apart
"What are you doing?" Sanskriti asked with a shivering spine
"I don't want to tent here anymore. I'll go back to our mates"
"Wait-...."
"Uhm...."
"You see.... This place is great, isn't it?"
"Yes. But it was... until you tried to drive me away"
"Then, stay" Sanskriti looked into Reeth's with her puppy eyes, now all soft
"Help me build the tent, I'll agree"
"But I'm not good at it"
"I'll teach"
Reeth built the tent slower than usual while teaching Sanskriti how to do it and making sure that she understood. It was getting darker, and they finished the job in their hands.
Sanskriti arranged Reeth's bedding too and they came outside. Though they chose a day with a clear weather, it was chilly
"Wait a bit" Reeth was about to leave, and Sanskriti pulled his sleeve
"Where?" she looked concerned. "Take me with you" her eyes were shivering. She became scared after Reeth mentioned of the boar, but she also didn't want to sit with the others
"Come with me" he said and caught her hand
Sanskriti was taken aback with the sudden skin ship, but Reeth's palms were warm, so she didn't deny locking her palm with his
Reeth borrowed some firewood, a lighter from his mates and they returned to their place
"Are you hungry?" he asked
"No" she replied without thinking much
"Well, I am."
Reeth placed the firewood and lit it up. He placed a pan of water on it. As soon as he added the tastemaker of the instant ramen after the noodles, Sanskriti couldn't control her watering mouth
