"Kritz, how's your wound? Did you go to change your bandage?" Reeth rushed from his elective class to Sanskriti, towards her medical class to check on her who was just exiting

As soon as she saw him, Sanskriti looked into his eyes with a puppy look

Reeth was perplexed for a second with the new expression on her face, but before he could celebrate, Sanskriti couldn't hold it anymore

"CATCH THESE!" she threw her books, stationery pouch and spectacles onto Reeth and ran

"Kritz!" Reeth was confused by the sudden gesture until he followed behind her and saw her going towards the washrooms. What happened later cracked Reeth up into a soft chuckle

Did anyone know that Sanskriti's brain goes boom to doom every time she is in stress?

"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!"

"AAAAAAaaaaaaaaaa......F#*k! F#*k! F#*k! F#*k!"

These were the sounds that echoed from the washrooms and Sanskriti came crashing out. She took a short U-turn and barged into the 'Ladies Washroom' that was the door beside the one she entered, catching her stomach. It was such a sight, indeed

Reeth kept laughing for a good time until Sanskriti came back with an obvious embarrassed look but trying to hide it behind an emotionless stare

She grabbed her things from Reeth and started brisk walking. Soon Reeth ran behind her, still giggling

"How's your wound?" he asked, unable to stop his laugh yet

Sanskriti stopped walking and stared at him, going back to her inhospitable cold face

"Move!" someone said from behind as Reeth and Sanskriti were standing in middle of the corridor. Sanskriti panned to the stranger and side-eyed the guy with her death stare who slowly slipped from the gap beside her onto the other side

As the guy went past them, Sanskriti tossed her things onto Reeth's chest which he slowly held and immediately pushed him to the wall. Like that. she came much closer to him to his surprise

"What? What did you ask?" She asked with her brows furrowed which slowly reflected in her pursed lips. Can a voice be smoky hot as hell too? A little vibrato to her smooth voice; it was like those woody heart notes popping above the base notes of a sweet perfume

Reeth stared at her, more towards her pouty lips. So cute with her one cheek squeezing; they had their own character. He was lost for a minute; mind blank, thoughts million; one to hold her, one to hold on. While a little fight was going on in his head, Sanskriti slapped him. It wasn't really a proper slap, more like a small pat to bring him back into his senses

"Ah.... wou- wound! How's it? Mine- I mean, yours? Uhmmm bleed- blood- ch- change- bandage? Hmm." he stammered while his eyes kept wandering in different directions, then to her lips and again into the air; blinking his eyes, licking his own lips and biting them like his battling with his feelings harder to stop them appear so obvious

"Right, wound!" Sanskriti took a step farther, enabling him to breathe for a moment when she forcefully removed her bandage on a whim and threw it

"Haha, wound!" she grinned. In a blink of an eye, she grabbed Reeth's hand and pressed it to her wound

He tried to pull his hand off, but Sanskriti forced him, stronger and harder. She kept her smirk; monstrous, manic, psychotic

"SANSKRITI!" Reeth yelled and pushed her off. "Are you nuts? Have you gone mad, Sanskriti? What's happening with you? What are you doing? Snap out, Sanskriti!" he grasped Sanskriti's shoulders tight and shook her in a desperate attempt to make her realize that she is hurting herself

Sanskriti was laughing. This time, it looked like she was in pain rather than a psychotic one like the smirk earlier

"This is what you did to me, remember? Bandage? Huh! Who will cure this wound in my heart that is eating me up slowly like a black hole? You, who gave it or she, who started it or those gentle people at my so-called house who want me to succumb to this as soon as possible so that they could brush it off and say good riddance? Haha, funny people I encountered, isn't it?"

"Sanskriti, pain is mine too..." Reeth replied with the moistest eyes

"It was never yours, Reeth" she shook her head. "You left me with your share of it too"

As they were entrapped in their own world, a girl came running in their direction

"Riri!" she called for him but stopped at the sight of Sanskriti and Reeth together

Sanskriti closed her eyes, chewed her cheek and nodded dismally. With a shady look, she heeled to the girl's side and tripped her to the floor. The drinks that the girl held flowed all over

Reeth picked up Sanskriti's thrown bandage and rushed towards his fallen friend and helped her out to get up

"WHAT IS THIS AROHA?" the girl shouted

Sanskriti didn't look back, not even a glance

Reeth kept glaring at her mid-length curly hair that swayed as she walked away, from him.

Sanskriti grabbed her plate and served herself with food, more than the usual and sat at a table that was left empty due to the direct sunrays falling onto it. She stuffed the food into her cheek though it was more than her cheek could hold and kept choking

She was angry, gloomy, dissatisfied and irritated. Her wound was bleeding profusely, and her coils of hair kept falling onto her face. She was so irked that she wanted to pull it off at that moment

Unknown to other eyes, she was crying; wailing silently making no noise by the stuffed food in her mouth and tearing looking right into the sun. Her falling coils of hair brushed her tears off her cheek. There was red in her eyes like the heat of the sun was burning inside of her. Had there been a mirror, she would've known how wrecked she looked

But this wasn't new. She is much aware of this face for a while now. She thought she gained control over that face, but no

Reeth came to the canteen with the other girl. He saw Sanskriti at the corner table and went with his filled plate. As he neared her, he saw that she was almost done with eating. However, what caught his eye was her now blood oozing hand. She wasn't moving nor groaning though the blood kept dripping onto the floor. He rushed towards her

"Kriti!" he puffed in concern

Sanskriti turned towards him with rice filled in her cheek and droopy red eyes

"Kriti, Wha-?"

And there, she fainted and fell off her chair
