It was evening when a vegetable factory was forced to closed after it was declared to be too dangerous for workers. Now the reason why it was dangerous was a mystery, for there have been many accidents in the factory that involved cut ropes and stuff like that. With the factory closed, many people in the nearby town were out of a job, which was a really big problem. Not too far away from the factory, there was a hill with a tree on top, and there was some sort of van with four teenagers and a dog. The leader was Fred (voiced by Frank Welker), the girl next to him was Daphne (voiced by Grey DeLisle), another girl named Velma (voiced by Mindy Cohn), and there was Shaggy (voiced by Casey Kasem), and Scooby Doo (voiced by Frank Welker), who was also a talking dog. Together they were teenage mystery solvers, and they were having a picnic when they heard the news about the factory not too far away. Shaggy: "Like it's a real shame that the factory over there has been closed, I heard the vegetables there would make my sandwich really good." Scooby: "Yeah, real shame..." Fred: "Well if we're lucky, we might be able to solve the mystery there and perhaps get it back in business." Shaggy: "Groovy, well as long as there are no ghosts to chase us." Fred: "Come on Shaggy, there's no such thing as real ghosts or monsters, the only kind we have and ever will, are just bad guys in costumes." Shaggy: "Real or fake, they scare the heck of me." Scooby: "Yeah, me too." as they went back to eating, Daphne sat on a spot under a tree that made her fell into a hole. She found herself in some sort of underground cave and that was where she found some sort of box. Daphne walked up to it and opened up the lid and saw something that was not what she would expect to find. Fred: "Daphne!, are you okay?" Daphne: "Yeah, but come on down here gang, you're not gonna believe what I just found!" Velma: "A clue to the mystery of the factory?" Daphne: "Not sure, but it's so cute!" this made the gang puzzled, until they went down and see that Daphne was holding a box that had what looked like some sort of bunny rabbit sleeping inside. Shaggy: "Like it's just a bunny rabbit." Scooby: "Yeah, bunny rabbit." Fred: "What's it doing in a box that in this cave?" Daphne: "Beats me, but I found a note inside." Velma: "What did it say?" Daphne: "I'm not sure, it's written in some sort of language I'm not familiar with, but I did found a word that I was able to read, it said 'Bunnicula', which I believe to be this little one's name." Shaggy: "Bunnicula?, like that sounds a lot like Dracula." Fred: "Come on Shaggy, this little bunny couldn't have anything to do with Dracula." Velma: "Besides, Dracula was a vampire that only exist in legends." Shaggy: "You know that, I know that, but does Dracula know it?" Fred: "Oh quit being silly, the next thing you might tell us, is that this little bunny is a vampire." Shaggy: "Well his name does sound like the kind a vampire would have." Scooby: "Yeah, yeah." this only made the gang to roll their eyes as they believe that Shaggy and Scooby were letting their imagination get the better of them. The next morning came and the gang were getting some food at a store when they noticed that some of the tomatoes were white and had no juice in them at all. Daphne: "That's strange, I've never seen white tomatoes with no juice before." Velma: "It looks as if all the juice was drained out of it... I wonder what could have caused this?" Fred: "Hey guys, where's the bunny?" Daphne: "You mean Bunnicula, he's sleeping in his box still." Fred: "No he's not, I just looked into his box and he was not there." Velma: "Uh oh, we better find him before the owner of the store does, for I have a feeling the little guy could get in big trouble." Shaggy: "Hey uh... I think I found him... and also found out what made some of those tomatoes all white and no juice as well..." said Shaggy, as he points the gang at Bunnicula, who used some sort of fangs to suck all the juice out of a tomato in his paws. Scooby: "Yikes!, vampire!" Fred: "Calm down Scooby, I'm sure there's a logical explanation." Shaggy: "I can tell you mine, he's like a vampire rabbit!" Daphne: "Don't be silly, there's no such thing as vampires or vampire rabbits." Shaggy: "Like are you sure?" Daphne: "Well... yeah... I hope so anyway..." said Daphne, as she and the others continue to look at Bunnicula still feeding on a tomato. Suddenly, some sunlight was coming through a window and it made Bunnicula feel scared and tried to hop back to his box. Shaggy: "You see?, he got scared of the sunlight, and everyone knows that Vampires are weak to sunlight." Fred: "Come on Shaggy, he was probably trying to protect his eyes from going blind by the light." Velma: "Yeah, that's probably it... I hope." later that day, the gang decided to keep an eye on the bunny in the box to see if what was going on with it. Daphne: "I highly doubt that what's going on in the factory had something to do with Bunnicula, I mean what damage could he do?" Velma: "Well rabbits can be a real pest when it comes to vegetables." that was when they noticed that the sun has come down and it was at that moment Bunnicula decided to wake up and hop off to find something to eat. Daphne: "Bunnicula, come back!" Fred: "Daphne wait!, we don't know what's out there." but it was too late, the gang have already started following the bunny to some bayou and that was when they discovered some sort of large sewer tunnel that Bunnicula decided to go in. Shaggy: "Too bad, he got away, we might as well go back to the Mystery Machine." Daphne: "Oh no you don't, we're going to find Bunnicula." Velma: "That's right, and besides, if I'm correct, this tunnel will lead us right to the vegetable factory, which might help us find some clues." Scooby: "Uh uh, no way." Daphne: "Would you do it for a Scooby snack, maybe two or three?" Scooby: "Yeah, yeah, yeah!" said Scooby, before Daphne took out a box that said 'Scooby Snacks' and took out some of the food and gave them to the dog, who enjoyed them very much. After finishing the snack, Scooby went into the tunnel while the others followed him. It was not long before they finally went to the other end of the tunnel and were now inside the factory. Shaggy: "I don't see Bunnicula anywhere, but it looks like something else was here." said Shaggy, as he noticed some tracks on the ground. Velma: "Hmm... these footprints are not human, but too big to be rabbit tracks." Fred: "They look like the tracks of a dog." Daphne: "But it can't be Scooby's, as these tracks looked like they've been here for a while." Shaggy: "Uh guys... I think I found out who the tracks belong to..." Fred: "Groovy!, who do they belong?" Shaggy: "[gulp] Them!" yelped Shaggy, as he points the gang at a pack of wolves that was snarling at them. Daphne: "Jeepers!" Velma: "Jinkies!" Shaggy: "Zoinks!, like it's a pack of wolves!" Fred: "Run for it!" called out Fred, before he and the rest of the gang were running for their lives, trying to escape from the pack of hungry wolves. Shaggy: "Like it was bad enough that fake monsters and ghost have been chasing us, now we got a pack of wolves to add in the list!" Daphne: "I sure hope Bunnicula didn't run into them!" Velma: "Look, there he is!" said Velma, as she points the gang at the little bunny in front of them. Daphne: "Thank goodness he's okay." Shaggy: "But not for long, as he and we are now like cornered!" said Shaggy, as the gang and the bunny were now cornered to a wall and the wolves were now in front of them, ready to make an attack. Shaggy: "Like this is it Scooby, goodbye old pal." Scooby: "Oh Shaggy..." as both Scooby and Shaggy were sobbing as they were about to meet their end, Bunnicula sees that the gang were in danger by the wolves, and the sight made the little bunny to feel mad. That was when Bunnicula transformed into a bat and his eyes started to glow red, which made the wolves to float up into the air and trapped them inside a large glass container. Fred: "Hold the phone... did Bunnicula just do that?" Daphne: "Jeepers, I'm beginning to think that Shaggy and Scooby might be right about Bunnicula being a vampire." That was when Bunnicula (voiced by Chris Kattan) started to speak. Bunnicula: "Bunnicula not let bad wolves hurt Bunnicula's friends!" Shaggy: "Zoinks!, like he can talk!" Bunnicula: "Uh huh!" Shaggy: "Dig that Scooby, a talking bunny." Fred: "Says the guy who owns a talking dog." Shaggy: "Fair enough." Scooby: "So... you won't suck our blood?" the moment Scooby said that, Bunnicula covered his mouth with his paws and had a sick look on his face, before running to the closest restroom to throw up in a toilet. Bunnicula: "Uh... Bunnicula get sick just thinking of that idea..." Shaggy: "A vampire that gets sick of just thinking of sucking blood?" Velma: "Well he is still a rabbit, which are vegetarians, so I guess it would make since." when the next day came, the police took the wolf pack to the zoo where they'll be taken care of. With the wolves gone, the factory was back in business, and the people of the town were grateful for what the Scooby gang did to solve the mystery. Velma: "Turns out the wolves used the sewer tunnel to sneak into the factory to find food, and by chewing on the ropes and stuff, the factory had all those accidents." Shaggy: "Yeah, until our new friend Bunnicula took care of them." Daphne: "So you're not scared of him anymore?" Shaggy: "Well he did like saved us from being wolf food, and it turns out that he loves to eat like me and Scooby here." Scooby: "Yeah, he, he, he." Bunnicula: "Yeah, Bunnicula love to eat, especially carrots." Fred: "One thing for sure, those wolves would have gotten away with making us history if it wasn't for our newest member." Bunnicula: "Really?, Bunnicula get to be with you?" Daphne: "Sure, you need a home and you did saved us, so it's only fair." Scooby: "Yeah, Scooby Dooby Doo!"
