Steffana:

How's everything?

May need pa kayo?

Timotheo:

Wala naman, ach

Ready to lipat bahay

Steffana:

It's not lipat bahay, siot. Just temporary during the pandemic.

Ciara:

Yeaahhh but who knows when this will end?

We don't exactly have a competent government who has strategies to battle this pandemic 🤷🏻‍♀️ just saying.

Timotheo:

Yeah yeah we know

Steffana:

Agree. But back to the topic, are you sure you don't want to stay at Guama's?

Primo:

Mom insists that we stay at La Carlota.

We're not sure why, though.

Steffana:

Well, I THINK it's because Mavi's back.

Ciara:

Yeah, maybe. He's not guama's fave.

Steffana:

Mom doesn't want you guys to get stressed out with more fam probs.

I'm sorry I'm not there with you three.

Primo:

It's okay, Ach.

Steffana:

Plus, our relatives will come home for ahia conde's wedding.

Ciara:

This month na yon?

Steffana:

Hindi pa. Pero humahabol na silang umuwi dahil baka mag-lockdown ulit at i-cancel ang mga flights.

I'm sure Fico and Atien will stay with you.

Primo:

I'm sure they will. I guess Mav, too.

Steffana:

Go make yourselves useful and help in harvesting so you won't have to go to the market.

Timotheo:

Si ahia @Primo na bahala 😚

Ciara:

Yes!! We stan a man with a green thumb 🌱

Primo:

I wasn't expecting any of you to help lol.

Ciara:

Btw, Achhhh @Steffana!!! I have chikka.

Ate miara is here tooo

Timotheo:

Really? I want to meet her.

Ciara:

Sipsip @Timotheo

Primo:

Okay, I'm out. Bye.

Chinese (Hokkien) honorifics:
Achi - first older sister
Dichi - second older sister
Siobe (or Shobe) - younger sister
Ahia - first older brother
Siote (or Shoti) - younger brother
Guama - grandmother (mother side)
Guakong - grandfather (mother side)

*note: although Ahia is the honorifics used for the eldest brother, we usually just use it to pertain to guys in the family na "nakakatanda" [like how Steffana addressed Conde (you'll meet him soon!] + but this is only based on what I know and from my experience. Chinese honorifics can be so precise and complicated lol.
