I woke up to the gentle rays of the morning sun peering through the drapes of our suite in Dubai.

The room was empty, echoing a sense of emptiness.

The rays of the sun kissed my face in the morning.

Rubbing my eyes with my fists, I sat up straight on the bed.

In this room, I'm by myself.

Rishabh isn't present.

I had a great day seeing Dubai with Akaash yesterday after lunch.

In the evening, I was dropped off at the hotel by Akaash.

He couldn't stay with me much longer since he truly needed to return.

It doesn't matter because my work is done, I got what I want.

Finally, *deep breath*.

As for Rishabh, I hadn't seen him since the last lunch, yesterday.

He texted me to let me know that he was okay and that he had an urgent business matter to attend to.

I wouldn't have been worried even if he hadn't texted me.
