Adalyn had brought up the idea of the wolves protecting Hope and Henry that Hayley had proposed to her and she wasn't completely against it since it would add even more protection to them.

"Have you lost your mind? Are you seriously considering this preposterous truth-telling idiocy?" Klaus questioned in anger

"Actually, I'm kind of on the fence," Adalyn admitted to him

"Well, then allow me to make this simple for you and under no circumstances will you divulge any family secrets, especially none that would endanger our children," Klaus stated to her

"Except it's not that simple, Klaus, you saw what Finn did. He's growing more powerful by the day and right now, he controls over half of the wolves, Hayley could change that," Adalyn pleaded with him

"The outcome of your strategy is not worth the risk it imposes on our son and daughter," Klaus reminded as she scoffed

"Well, it's not a risk if I trust Hayley and Jackson and we could have a whole army of super wolves who could protect them as one of their own," Adalyn spoke with pleaded eyes

"They don't need a wolf army and I'll protect them myself, and an easy time I'll have of it, too, without you running off sharing secrets with every motley member of your werewolf brethren," Klaus stated watching her

"Damn it, Klaus, this is our chance and we can bring them home so we have to at least consider this," Adalyn begged the man

"I have considered it, and I have deemed it absurd, and in this matter, there is no one above my decree, not even you and you tell Hayley the deal is off," Klaus warned as she shook her head

"It's a good thing that I don't take orders from anyone, especially not from you," Adalyn stated before walking out

Adalyn was getting coffee as Klaus watched the twins, she was upset with him that he couldn't put aside his ego for his kids' protection from the wolves but she also understood the fear he had about it.

"If anything, I'm worried about how offset Klaus is now," Hayley admitted to the girl

"Klaus won't go as far as harming anyone who only means good to the twins," Adalyn denied to her best friend

"Klaus also said that about Marcel and then he ended up nearly going to war with the man," Hayley pointed out

"Point taken but he got past it and that is exactly what's going to happen now, he loves them too much to hurt them in the long run," Adalyn defended the man

"If you say that he's got his anger under control then I believe you," Hayley added with a smile

"I wanted to ask you, would you want to be their Godmom?" Adalyn asked as Hayley chcuked

"That's not even a question, I'd love to," Hayley spoke with a nod

They finished their coffees before heading back to the bayou only to see a bloody Jackson being held by Klaus which caused Adalyn to push Klaus back so Hayley could grab the werewolf from his hold.

"I trust him, Klaus so do you hear me? You're not gonna kill him, not unless you want to go through me," Adalyn warned the hybrid

"You truly believe that he is worthy of your trust?" Klaus questioned as he walked up to her

"Yes, I even went as far to defend you against him and Hayley, I told you that you had your anger in check but you just played me," Adalyn spoke as her voice cracked

"Oh, you are stubborn, little wolf so go ahead with the deal but you mark my words. If you ever betray her, I will find you, and I will deposit your head on the end of a spike. Perhaps I'll leave it in your grandmother's garden," Klaus warned before speeding away

"Here," Hayley spoke looking at the werewolf

"I'm sorry, I thought he was past all the fighting," Adalyn spoke looking between them

"For what, knowing a monster, having baggage in your past? We all got that, some worse than others and when Jack was down, you fought for him," Mary spoke as she walked out

"I'll live but that's the thing I can't figure out, why didn't he kill me?" Jackon asked looking at the Hybrid

"Klaus was afraid of trusting anyone. I think he realized that not trusting you would be worse. He'd end up surrounded by enemies, alone," Adalyn spoke before leaving

Adalyn hadn't talked to Klaus for the rest of the night besides only telling him to say goodnight to the babies, she was still upset with him for making a liar out of her. She went to bed in her roo rather than his room like she had before and he felt cold the entire night due to the loss.
