𝗟𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗹𝗳 | 𝗞. 𝗠𝗶𝗸𝗮𝗲𝗹𝘀𝗼𝗻

𝗧𝘄𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘆-𝗧𝘄𝗼, 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗹'𝘀 𝗧𝗮𝗶𝗹.

Adalyn was sitting in the living room when she heard Klaus whispering from upstairs while using her wolf hearing so she went to go see if everything was okay. She walked into the room to see his face with blood and him out of breath as he held on to Elijah.

"What are you doing?" Adalyn asked looking at Klaus

"I'm trying to enter Elijah's thoughts to wake him and Esther's locked me out," Klaus explained with a pant

"Is this rash a side effect of the witchy acid trip he's on?" Adalyn asked with concern

"I haven't seen this since I was a child, Mikael would return home from battle more blindly temperamental than usual, and our mother would use the petals of a rare merlock orchid to put him to sleep. She would mend his mind with a spell, and then wake him with the roots of the same plant and if she has access to it now, then maybe it also grows in the Bayou so you stay here with the wolves and mind the fort," Klaus directed the girl

"I'd rather rip your mother's head off," Adalyn stated with an eye roll

"Stay clear of her. I mean it, Lynn. She already got to you once, what would happen if Elijah were to wake and find you a victim of her madness?" Klaus questioned her some more

"I won't go after her. I promise and I've learned a few things from your mother, I won't go after her but I'll go after everything that she loves," Adalyn warned looking at him

Adalyn, Hayley, Cami, Josh, and Aiden had all come up with a plan to take down Vincent/Finn, Josh and Aiden were having a drink while waiting and the girls were all talking about random things.

"Cami said Vincent wants to meet at Preservation Hall. But, he won't be unprotected and there will be wolves positioned here and here," Aiden explained with a sigh

"Can we keep this alley open?" Marcel asked the man

"Alright, I'll wait there and rip Vincent's head off," Adalyn remarked to them

"Nah, he'll body-jump," Marcel stated to the hybrid

"Vincent's head stays on, he'll have a hard time answering questions without it," Cami spoke as she walked in

"Sweet, it's a big box of dusty old junk, we're saved," Josh spoke as he looked through the box

"They're dark objects my uncle left for me. I've been cataloging them according to Kieran's notes. As far as I can tell, these can be used against witches specifically," Cami spoke as Marcel pulled out shackles

"Kinky," Adalyn joked earning some laughs

"Ah, I remember these! A hundred years ago, the Human Faction waged a war against the Voodoo Queens. They had a traitor spell on these manacles. Slap 'em on a witch, they can't do magic as long as they're on," Marcel explained some more

"Alright, we're not gonna get the Handcuffs of Doom on him while he's surrounded by a werewolf entourage," Josh added with a grimace

"We can just lure him away, I can do that," Aiden stated with a nod

"Cami, if we do this, you're the bait and are you sure you're okay with that?" Hayley questioned the woman

"Make it look convincing, the guy's really smart," Cami spoke as Aiden nodded

The plan had worked and they had managed to get Finn and Cami had kill him, Adalyn had decided to go home and take a nap after the long day she had. She never used to sleep this much but it was the only way she could go without missing her kids.

"Heard you have a tough day," Klaus spoke as he walked in

"Yeah, we managed to get Finn," Adalyn spoke making him nod

"And my other brother, Kol showed up aswell," Klaus added as she sighed

"He's still not mad at me for helping Elena kill him right?" Adalyn questioned making him chuckle

"Either way, you're with me now so he can't touch you," Klaus stated looking at her

"Well, I like the sound of that," Adalyn admitted in a whisper

"Well, you should get dressed and something to eat before we leave," Klaus stated as he looked at her

"What? Where are we going?" Adalyn questioned as she was confused

"To see our children," Klaus stated as she smiled

Adalyn smiled and kissed his cheek before running into the bathroom to get dressed, she was excited to see her babies since they were all that she had been thinking about lately. She looked at herself in the mirror and let out a quiet laugh before finishing to get ready.
