Adalyn was sitting in The Abbatoir with Klaus and the other vampires, she had never felt so bored in her life. Klaus was having the time of his life though, he had won back the city from Marcel so everything was whole with him again.

"To New Orleans," Diego spoke as Klaus nodded his head

"To New Orleans! I understand that some of you may have questions regarding the recent change in leadership, and I invited you here tonight to assure you that you are not defeated. No, my intentions moving forward are to celebrate what we have, what Marcel took and built for this true community of vampires," Klaus toasted with a smile

"What about her? The wolf," Diego questioned looking at Adalyn

"Had you'd let me finish, Diego, you would know that there is, of course, one further matter I would like to address as many of you know, the girl is carrying my children. Consequently, I trust you will all pay her the appropriate respect, however, I understand that some of you are concerned by this vicious rumor that I intend to use the blood of our children to create hybrids. I assure you I do not," Klaus spoke while looking at Adalyn

"Father of the year," Adalyn mumbled to herself

"It appears I will have to earn your trust. Very well, we'll eliminate the root of your anxiety. You see, how can I sire any hybrids if there are no more werewolves alive in the bayou to turn?" Klaus questioned with a smirk

"What? Klaus, no!" Adalyn scolded the man

"So eat, drink, and be merry, then tomorrow, I suggest you have a little wolf hunt, go ahead, have fun. kill them all," Klaus stated earning some cheers before Adalyn pulled him to the side

"Those werewolves you ordered killed, that's Hayley's family," Adalyn pointed out to him

"Not for long, love. I mean, this so-called family of hers hasn't done you much good, have they? You said it yourself, they abandoned her and left her on your own. Now it's simply your turn to do the same," Klaus stated before she nodded her head

"Maybe they had their reasons," Adalyn spoke while shaking her head

"Yes, while I have a reason to, little wolf. If the werewolves are dead, then the vampires have less desire to kill you. I am trying to keep you safe, not that you appreciate the effort," Klaus explained some more

"And as soon as I have these babies, what happens to me then? Well, lucky for me I have a little while before I find out and in the meantime, I will find a way to pay you back for this and as long as I'm in the family, you can't do a damn thing about it," Adalyn stated in anger

Adalyn was giving glares to Klaus for the rest of the night until they had gone home, she wasn't talking to Hayley that much anymore but she didn't want her to lose the last connection to her family that she had left. Hayley had come and sat next to Adalyn in the chairs outside.

"Thank you for what you did for the wolves," Hayley spoke as Adalyn shook her head

"I didn't do it for them, I did for you," Adalyn corrected the werewolf

"Either way, thank you," Hayley spoke before she nodded

"What happened to us? We used to be so close when we first met then we came here and everything changed," Adalyn spoke looking at her

"Klaus happened," Hayley added looking at her

"We can't blame it all on him but he did play a part in it," Adalyn corrected the girl

"I guess we both had our faults in this mess and for my part, I am sorry," Hayley admitted with a sigh

"I'm sorry too," Adalyn spoke

Hayley didn't say anything else so the two girls just sat quietly for the rest of the time, Adalyn heard Klaus coming so she decided to say goodbye and goodnight to Hayley before following behind the Hybrid.
