At midnight, as Emily wakes up, her body weak as she opens her, noticing a light from the corner of her eyes

Odette, her robotic leg up on a chair, with her trousers rolled up to give her an opening to analyze her malfunctioning robotic leg, one of her skin panels opened revealing mess of cybernetics as sparks fly out it as the carmine scientist uses her tablet on the nearby table to show statistics

Emily's gaze falls upon Odette, her heart swelling with love and relief as she realizes that her girlfriend is safe and by her side.

Emily: (softly) Odette...

Odette looks up from her work, a warm smile spreading across her face as she sees Emily awake.

Odette: (gratefully) Emily...

Odette takes her robotic leg of the chair and limps to Emily's side, gritting her teeth at the pain of her cybernetics

Emily: (weakly) Odette... you're here...

Emily blinks groggily, her vision still blurry as she struggles to focus on the figure sitting beside her. As her eyes adjust, she sees Odette, her expression one of relief and concern.

Odette: (softly) How are you feeling?

Emily manages a weak smile, her voice hoarse as she responds.

Emily: (weakly) Like I got hit by a tractor. What happened?

Odette: (softly) We won, Emily. Lucifer and the others defeated the Black Cross King, and we're all safe now. But you... you used all your powers to help us, and you were injured in the process.

Emily's heart swells with pride at the news of their victory, but she can't ignore the pain that courses through her body.

Emily: (determined) I had to do something, Odette. I couldn't stand by and watch as everything we fought for was destroyed.

Odette's eyes shimmer with tears as she leans in to press a gentle kiss to Emily's forehead.

Odette: (tearfully) You're so brave, Emily. I'm so proud of you.

Emily's cheeks flush with warmth at Odette's words, her heart overflowing with love for her girlfriend.

Emily: (tenderly) I couldn't have done it without you, Odette. It was your kiss that triggered my powers

Odette: (calmly) That wasn't the only thing it did. it seems your power overloaded my already short circuited leg here

Emily looks down at Odette's robotic leg, concern etching her features as she reaches out to gently touch the damaged cybernetics.

Emily: (horrified) Odette... I didn't mean to cause any harm... i'm sorry

Odette smiles softly, her hand covering Emily's as she reassures her.

Odette: (comfortingly) It's okay, Emily. You were just trying to protect us. Besides, it's nothing I can't fix. I mean, you're the one who lost all your powers

Emily: (comforting) i've lost nothing, i don't need power, I have everything i want right in front of me... quite literally

Emily's words resonate deeply with Odette, filling her heart with warmth and love. She gazes into Emily's eyes, her own eyes shimmering with emotion.

Emily: (surprised) Odette...

Odette: (tearfully) Emily... that was the most beautiful thing you've ever said

Emily: (tenderly) Together, we can face anything that comes our way. As long as we're together, we can overcome any obstacle.
