I Would Do Anything For You

Eyes puffy and red, though tears unshed,

Blindly I walk though a maze, but you have left.

Carefully, barefoot, across the stones I tread,

No matter how careful, scorching hot pebbles I am fed.

Each step you take, seems further from me,

A thought I can't help but believe,

Are you bored? Are you done?

What I would give for the rays of your sun.

I never deserved you, but you kept up the act,

Was it because what you gained, I lacked?

Did you stay so your flaws seemed silly?

I knew that one day that you would leave me.

You played me like a crystal ball,

If you asked, in seconds I'd be out the door,

Or if you wanted, on concrete I would fall,

When your personality so rich, why want someone so poor?
