After paying the bill Kara exited the building to see the three woman whispering to one another. Not trying to eavesdrop she coughed to clear her throat alerting to her arrival. "You all ready? Get your legs stretched and everything, used the bathroom?" Kara asked. "Yes!" They all replied. "Ok let's get going." Kara stated as she hopped into the drivers seat and grabbed her sunglasses. As they drove everyone looked out the windows at the scenery that passed by them. "So when will we get to the ranch?" Lena asked. "We actually been on it for the last two miles." Kara replied. "Really? How big is it?" Sam asked. "Give or take four thousand acres." Kara replied. "And you maintain it just you and your sisters?" Andrea asked. "No we have some hands that help while we take care of the guests." Kara explained.

"It's really beautiful here. All the mountains and everything, do you ever see any wildlife?" Lena asked. "Yea...just last week I shot at a wolf." Kara replied. "Really? How come?" Lena asked now intrigued. "It was getting too close to the herd. So I took a pot shot at it to scare it off thats all. Now if it had killed a cow or something, I'd killed it." Kara explained. "Ohh do you always carry a gun with you?" Sam asked. "Yea." Kara replied. "Even in here?" Andrea asked. Laughing Kara nodded. "It's right beside me on the driver side door." Kara replied. Sam and Andrea strained their necks to see the rifle. "Will we need to know how to use one?" Lena asked. "Oh no...if anything gets too close to you guys while we're out on the horses one of us will take care of it." Kara stated. "However..if you really want to I'm sure we can take a day and do some target shooting." Kara added.

An hour and half later Kara was pulling into the driveway that lead to the main house. "Where will we be staying?" Sam asked. "Main house. The cabins have burst pipes from the winter. So our hands are fixing them right now." Kara explained. "Oh ok." Lena replied. Kara once again held the doors open before getting their bags out. "Welcome to Danvers Ranch!" Eliza exclaimed happily from the front porch. "That's our mom Eliza." Kara stated. "Alex, Maggie go help Kara with their bags. Bring them up to the bunk rooms." Eliza stated.

All eyes were now on the sisters with the women drooling over the cowgirls. "Nice to meet you! I'm Alex." Alex said as she grabbed Sam's bags. "I'm Samantha..but everyone calls me Sam..." Sam stammered. "I'm Maggie." Maggie stated as she grabbed Andreas things. "Pleasure to meet you! I'm Andrea." She replied. Kara rolled her eyes as she watched her sisters all but swoon over the women. She grabbed Lena's stuff and made her way inside with Lena tight on her tail. One by one they stopped at bedrooms. "And my rooms right across the hall. So if you need anything thats where I'll be." Kara explained to Lena as she put the bags on the bed. "Thank you Kara. Where is the bathroom?" Lena asked. "Right through the door. There's more towels in the hall closet. The clothes closet is right there if you have anything that needs to be hung. Uh...dinners in about twenty minutes. I'll leave you to it then." Kara replied with a smile.

Lena watched as she walked out of the room before letting out a breath she was holding in her chest. "She's gonna be the death of me!" Lena whispered to herself as she unpacked her things, hanging her shirts in the closet before putting her jeans and other things in the drawer. They all made sure to come prepared so a week before they went out and bought a whole new wardrobe to bring with them along with some dresses and nice shoes for the end of the summer barbecue.

Kara slipped out the back door and headed to the coral where her horse was. "Hey boss!" Winn stated. "Hey Winn, get everything done?" She asked. "Almost, just heading back out with James now." He stated as he began riding down the road with the other man. Sighing Kara headed into the coral to do some work with her horse. That's where Lena found her a few minutes later. The blonde was riding the horse bareback around in circles when Lena appeared at the coral. The setting sun shown down on them causing the already beautiful blonde to appear even more beautiful. "Oh hey there! Didn't see you come out!" Kara exclaimed happily as she slowed her horse to a walk. "Uh yea..Sam and Andrea are still unpacking so I thought I'd come outside to get away from them." Lena stated.

"Want to meet him?" Kara asked as she slid off the bay horse. "Ummm...." Lena replied. "Come on, you gotta get used to it sometime. I mean you'll be riding one soon enough." Kara explained as she extended her muscular arm out for Lena to take her hand. Reluctantly Lena took her hand and walked into the coral. "That's it. Just go slowly, he's not one to spook easily. There ya go...just like this." Kara said as she moved behind Lena taking her hand in her own as she began moving it over the horses back. "Does he have a name?" Lena asked softly. "Yea, his names Monty...he was born here three years ago." Kara whispered as her mouth ghosted Lena's ear. "Is he yours? Like do you ride him all the time?" Lena asked. "Almost every day. His mother was my first horse actually. She's right over there, her names Minnie. If you like after dinner I'll take you to see the rest of the horses." Kara replied again ghosting Lena's ear.

"I...I'd like that..." Lena whispered back. "Ok, it's settled then. I hope you're hungry, knowing my mom like I do she'll be pulling no punches with dinner tonight. Come on, let's go wash our hands and get seated." Kara replied as she moved away from Lena's body. Lena quickly turned around and followed her into the house and into the downstairs bathroom where they washed the horse hair off their hands before sitting at the large table. Alex sat beside Sam, Maggie beside Andrea, while on the other side Kara sat next to Lena while Eliza sat at the head of the table. "This looks delicious Mrs. Danvers." The women cooed. "Thank you! And please call me Eliza." She replied.
