"No one will dare to do that, Iza. It's not your mistake that this happened to you. May that Sarim and his family rot in hell," Aqia tried to coax her.

She shook her head as if she was a crying mess now. "No Aqia Mama, they all will think that I have some issues in me and that's why my husband divorced me. I don't want to live. Why did you all save my life?"

Aqia glared at her. "Don't say things like that, Unaiza. May you have a long life."

Ishmal came to her other side and caressed her wet face. "Unaiza, please don't do that to you. This shouldn't have happened to you but please don't lose hope in Allah's mercy. You should be happy that you got saved from them on time. Be optimistic. No one will say anything to you."

She leaned into Ishmal's chest and hugged her tightly. "Bhabi, I am useless. I don't know what to do."

She kissed the top of her head. "No, you are the most precious girl. Don't be sad over such bad people. You know Haider is trying to search for them. And then we will see justice getting served to you."

Unaiza's sobs never ended as she hid her face in Ishmal's dupatta. Soon a nurse entered.

"Please you guys leave the room for a while. We need to check the state of the patient," she ordered in her usual professional tone.

The nurses had given Unaiza some sedatives hence she fell into asleep again. She needed a lot of rest to her mind anyway. The next day, they allowed her to leave with the advice that no one should leave Unaiza alone for some time until she became better and if worse, get her checked with some therapist as she had gone through a major shock of her life.

Huzaifa moved the straw in his strawberry cream milkshake as he seemed lost in deep thought. And of course, it was Unaiza. Whatever had happened to her and the way she tried to cope with it, none was good. She didn't deserve this and he hoped she would come back to life and realize that the one who should be scared and worried is that Sarim and his whole gang.

Inaya noticed his silence for a while. She cleared her throat to get his attention.

"What's wrong?" She asked, giving him her best smile which always made her look more beautiful to him.

Huzaifa took a sip before looking back at her. "Unaiza got divorced on her wedding night. She is in very bad condition right now and we all are worried for her."

Inaya raised her perfectly arched eyebrows. She never liked Unaiza because she always took Huzaifa's attention away from her at University whenever he had to look out for her safety. But right now, even she felt bad for her.

"What? At her wedding night?" She almost yelled.

Huzaifa nodded. "Those jerks were some part of the gang who do fraud in the name of the marriage."

"Oh my God, Huzaifa. That's so scary," she mumbled, moving her head here and there.

Huzaifa completed the remaining milkshake and got up, placing the cash equivalent to the cost of two glasses on the table. "Let's go."

"Where?" She implored.

"I need to go back home. I just came here because our date was due and I hadn't seen you for a while. I just can't enjoy anything when there is so misery in my house," he told her.

Even though Inaya didn't like it, however at that time even she couldn't say the opposite. Maybe what was happened was very grave and she knew it. Or perhaps she knew Huzaifa wouldn't be in the mood to hear any contrary opinion from her.

She stood up and walked with him towards the parking where his car was parked.

It was a week since that incident happened. Unaiza was getting better now because of the support of her family and her own willpower. She still considered her attempt to commit suicide her biggest sin. Life might come up with many hardships but she shouldn't have opted for this action. It was against religion and her own upbringing. But she didn't know that at that time why she was seeing darkness and agony everywhere which was making her wish against life every day.

In her prayers, she always asked for forgiveness from Allah for opting suicide. She knew one day she would get it because Allah is merciful.

A while ago, Nisha had talked to her and reassured her. The soothing words of support and love she spoke were so comforting for her that she broke into tears. She even promised her that she would come to meet her someday. Unaiza blamed herself once again. She had so many good relations near her and she wasn't much gratified. What would they do if she was no more?

She suddenly started missing her parents. At that time, she wished she had their warm embrace to keep herself protected and loved. Unaiza held the picture frame from her side table and moved her hand over her parents,' smiling faces.

"I miss you, Ammi, Abu. Why did you leave me all alone in this world? I need you," she whispered as a tear fell from her eye on the frame.

She hugged the picture near to her chest. "I miss you. I love you so much."

She was interrupted when a soft knock sounded on her door. She placed the picture back and turned around.

"Yes." When she spoke, she heard a trembling in her voice.

The door got pushed and then Huzaifa appeared.
