After bringing the woman's decapitated head to Dr. Swineheart's office, Bigby and (Y/N) both made their way to the Business office. (Y/N) walks alongside Bigby, absentmindedly fiddling with the ribbon of her red cape as she looks ahead. A small line of people were waiting outside the business office, Tim, or "Tiny Tim," stood at the front, followed by the same ginger man they had bumped into before in the hall, and another Fable, Grendel.

Grendel had midnight black hair sleeked back, dark tanned skin and a goatee, a large scar running across his face. His right eye was a milky white, his other a light shade of green. He had on a simple white t-shirt with a pair of blue jeans on, a caramel brown leather jacket over his arms, gold chains around his neck and a golden earring in his ear. He wore an annoyed scowl on his face, his scowl only deepening as the two walk past him in long strides.

"What're you-- blind?" he demands roughly, his voice a bit raspy and tone dangerous.

Bigby slows to a stop at Grendel's words, (Y/N) glancing back over her shoulder with a mildly annoyed expression.

"What? You don't see there's a line?" the man demands, scoffing and rolling his eyes as he gestures to the others. "I've been standin' here a half hour already. You two just get to walk in?!"

(Y/N)'s body tenses when the man begins to approach aggressively, her eyebrows furrowing as she watches the man with a sharp glare. Bigby shifts his body to stand partially in front of (Y/N), towering over Grendel and giving him a white-hot glare as a faint, almost inaudible growl rumbles in his chest.

"Must be nice being the Sheriff and Deputy," Grendel mocks with a scowl, crossing his arms over his chest as he glares up at Bigby. "Do whatever the fuck you like."

"Look, sir," (Y/N) sets her hand on Bigby's back gently, Bigby glancing at her from the corner of his eye as he backs off slightly, his body remaining stiff as he returns his glare to Grendel. "We work here. Okay? We're not here to file grievances or whatever. So... kindly fuck off. Go throw your little temper tantrum in line."

Bigby's expression softens with surprise before a small, faintly amused smirk tugs at the corner of his lips, Grendel's face becoming red with anger as his eye twitches. (Y/N) looks to the ceiling with exasperation as she turns away with a sharp turn of her heel, pushing open the Business office door and marching inside as Bigby follows.

He throws a smug glance over his shoulder to Grendel, whose lip curls upward in an angry snarl before Bigby slams the door shut behind him, silencing any insults hurled their way.

The inside of the Business Office was massive, the room almost identical to a large library one would find in an impressive castle. The floor was made of old stonework, large pillars holding up the ceiling and several ancient statues and relics scattered around in a messy manner. There was a wooden long table with books scattered along it, a few standing floor lamps to light the room, and other different objects from the Homeland littering the place.
