you lightly turned your right foot to the right.

"are you insane?"

she sighed.

"fine, i'll do my best."

she moved a large amount of space backwards.

'what is he thinking?' both parents thought.

you took a deep breathe and walked towards them.

Ruby shot at your father. with crescent rose, stopping him from firing an arrow.

instead of dodging it though, he literally fucking punted it away with his bow towards you.

you used your semblance to harden your tail and slapped it to the floor.

there was one thing your dad had forgotten about.

you never got rid of the other arm.

it grabbed your mother's tail, causing her to yelp in surprise.

it caused a small distraction due to your mother turning around in confusion and your father following suit due to the yelp.

however, he quickly released his mistake, turning to face you.

by that time, you were about to punch him in the head.

he went to block, but he stopped when he noticed you had fainted, and was sending a kick to his chest instead.

he was barely able to block by redirecting the bow at the last second.

the buzzer went off as he hit the wall.

'what?' he looked up at the screen. 'my aura was that low? i didn't even notice.'

your mum snapped to look at you, grabbing you by the face.

'oh no.' you thought.

you felt your energy leaving your body, your aura rapidly being drained.

your mother's own was replenishing.

"sorry baby." your mum kindly spoke as she drained the entirety of your aura.

the buzzer didn't go off until it broke.

your mum has heavily concerned when it broke, and she lightly put you down.

your dad came up and moved you out of the crossfire, holding you securely in his arms as he himself sat down a fair bit away.

Ruby had been looking at you the entire time.

"got hit by your mother's semblance huh?" he whispered, and you lightly nodded your head.

you rested your head on his chest, and he moved a hand up to your head, lightly caressing it.

your fox ears twitched as your dad stroked your head, including said ears.

another buzzer went off.

it seemed the match had ended.

you sat on your bed with Ruby in your team's dorm.

i know, shocker, why your bed and not Ruby's?

well......

"are you looking after my baby boy?!"

"yes ma'am!"

"good!"

both your mother and father were in the room alongside your team.

and team RWBY was also here for some reason.
