The next morning had finally come along. The first day of stage two. Ugh I was so nervous!
"Shannon you have to wake up" a voice says shaking me.
"Yeah come on or he's gonna have your head" another voice says.
I was so tired, I didn't even know who all was trying to wake me.
"Mmm.. leave me alone" I yawn as I pull the covers back over me.
All of a sudden I feel a splash of cold water hit my face.
I quickly jump up and throw the blanket off of me.
"What the fuck?" I say stuttering and shivering.
I rub my eyes and look at the head of my bed, only to see Eric standing there glaring at me.
"You up now?" he asks annoyed.
"No shit" I say rolling my eyes and tying up my hair.
"Good.. now get your ass down to the simulation room.. five minutes" he says walking out of the dorm.
"Tried to warn you" Christina says laughing.
"Yeah thanks" I say yawning again.
"Your all soaked now" Al says cupping my face.
"No really? I didn't notice" I say sarcastically as I throw on a shirt.
"Here" Tris says as she grabs my blanket, "Let's hang this up so it'll dry".
"Thanks Tris" I say laughing and putting on some jeans.
"Here" Al says as he throws me a hoodie.
"Awe thanks" I say smiling and putting it on. "You guys can meet me down there, I just need to put on my boots".
"Alright.. don't be late" Christina says as she grabs Tris and walks out.
I quickly throw on my boots and make my way down to the simulation room.
Fuck. I forgot that I told Uriah that I'd meet him before hand. Oh well.
I run into the simulation waiting room and spot Uriah right away.
"Hey" I say sitting down next to him.
"Hey" he greets back.
"Sorry about this morning.. I overslept" I say in a whisper.
"It's all right.. no harm done" he says nudging me.
"Shannon" I hear Four say.
Oh shit.. this was it.
I stand up slowly and turn to walk away when Uriah grabs my arm.
"Hey.. remember what we were told" he says whispering in my ear.
I nod at him and make my way into the simulation room with Four.
"Take a seat" he says nodding towards a chair.
It looked like one of those chairs that you would see in dentist office.
I sighed and made my way over to the chair as I sat down slowly.
"I'm going to inject you with a serum that simulates the part of your brain that processes fear" he says as he gets a needle ready.
"Y-Yeah" I say back nervously.
"Don't be nervous Shan.. it's only me today. What it does is, it induces a hallucination and then transmitters in the serum allow me to see the images in your mind" he says turning around to face me.
