"Charles! Where are you?" Mila shouted, sitting on the floor in front of her wardrobe.

"In the lounge, why?" Charles shouted back, sitting on the couch.

"Can you come here?"

Charles made his way upstairs, following Mila's instruction. He turned the corner into their bedroom to see the woman surrounded by makeup and hair products. "What's up?"

"Can you grab my shoes for me please? I am stressing right now, we are going to be so late."

"It's a club babe, you don't need to rush so much. I'm sure lando won't mind if we are slightly late."

"I know but still, it's rude! Please get my shoes." Mila was flustered enough, so Charles complied.

Charles already knew what shoes Mila wanted, a pair of black strappy heels that he had bought for her for their one month anniversary. He also took a small pair of flats that he could fit in his pocket, in case she needed them later. As he returned upstairs, he heard Mila singing along to a song, her voice was beautiful. He leaned against the wall outside, listening for a moment. As he walked into the room, Mila stopped singing abruptly, embarrassed.

"Thank you Charlie. I love you." Mila said, applying a fake eyelash.

"I love you too Mila," Charles leaned down, pulling Mila's chin upwards, kissing her lightly. "Would they even notice if we didn't show up tonight?"

"Yes they would! You're a nightmare Leclerc." Mila pushed Charles's leg, still sitting on the floor.

"You love it Mila." Charles held her hand and pulled her up from the floor, wrapping his arm around her waist.

The two made their way to the front door, Mila rushing, Charles not so much. As they reached the door to the apartment, Charles spun his girlfriend around, pushing her against the door. "You can't even imagine how hot you are right now Mila." He ran his finger along her jaw, making her breath hitch.

"Charles, we can't, we need to go." She whispered.

"I know, just wait until we get home." The man grinned, leaning his forehead against hers, Mila smiled back at him.

"You're going to get makeup on your face." She giggled.

"As long as it's yours I don't care."

As the two arrived at the club, they were greeted by a crowd of people, paparazzi and the public alike. The crowd swarmed around them as they walked around the back of the building to the rear entrance, mostly for VIPs. The bouncers checked their names, and even asked Mila for her ID, something that made her laugh, she couldn't remember the last time she had been asked for hers. The couple made their way into the VIP room, with dark purple lights coming from low lights being their only source of guidance.

"On your left," Charles pointed. "They're in there."

The door was unmarked, making Mila unsure how how he knew where the group was. "Are you sure?" She half shouted over the music.

Charles nodded his head, pushing the door open past her, and walking into the room, which was slightly brighter. Sure enough, the group of men and their girlfriends were already there waiting for the arrival of the couple.

"Where have you two been?" Lando asked, raising one eyebrow.

"Charles was holding me back Lando, I was trying to rush I swear, but then he kept slowing me down again." Mila was slightly panicked, worried that she had offended Lando.

"I'm only joking Mila, I don't mind that you're 'late' most people turn up an hour after I ask them to." Lando air quoted the word late, reassuring Mila that he wasn't mad.

"Thank god." Mila gave Lando a side-hug, and spotted Kika and Pierre. "Kika!"

"Mila!" The two girls ran to eachother, hugging and swaying from side to side. Mila from happiness, Kika from the alcohol.

The two girls chatted for almost an hour uninterrupted, their respective boyfriends called past from time to time to ask if they wanted drinks, and of course neither girl refused.

"You're properly whipped mate." Pierre said to Charles as he noticed the Monegasque staring at Mila.

"I know. I'm so happy."
