"H-How did...How did you see in this darkness without contacts??" He musingly voiced out, my eyes blinked before hiz words settled slowly inside me,

My eyes subconsciously diverted across the room, the utter blackness seemed nothing to me now. I was easily able to see everything, locate every object as if I was born for this.
The realization left my throat dry, my eyes blinking back at wide confusing eyes of taehyung who marched at me,

"I-I don't know... " I shrugged at the end, my hands pressing on the fluffy mattress before I pushed myself up. When taehyung came to a halt just before me, I continued difficultyly, "... I have been wearing them since I came here, you know after that night. I don't know what happen during this ti__"

I stopped midway when I heard a screech from taehyung who smiled widely at me,

"I know what happened! " He gleamed while jumping a little, I nodded curtly, my eyebrows lifting as I motioned him to continue,

"I think it is because of our meet t__"

"Meet?? " I murmered without realizing, he shooted me a knowing glare before huffing, " I mean intimate night. I think we are now inseparable mates, so we share these common traits! You know, transfer them into each other in some sort of way"

I nodded understandingly though it felt completely foreign but it wasn't actually odd to not make sense. Arguably, this was the only sensible explanation that we came to deduce at last.

"Does that mean you can also see in light now?? " I questioned in a whisper but he was quick to catch on the words, his shoulders quickly dropping before he shrugged nonchalently,

"Maybe? "

"Why don't we check? Anyway, we need to accompany your mother to the light kingdom for the execution of the plan, we can check on this too. What say? " I said while looking at him, he sighed defencelessly before nodding bruseqly. His face remained neutral for a second before he turned voracious, the cheerful curving of his face skin emitting bubbliness 

"Now you don't have any reason to run away from me!! We can now see in each other's dukedom! " He stated out while coming toward me, I laughed at his tune that was dribbling with possessiveness. His face scrunching when he looked at my giggly face,

"I wasn't letting you go, anyway! You were mine after i take your virginity as well as grant you mine! " I clarified in return while pulling him toward me, he broke into a satisfied smile with his cheeks dusting pink.

"I think we are getting late. Your mother has already left like two hours before, let's arrive there!" I pulled away from his lips, he grinned before nodding hurriedly. His hands quickly unclasping around me, before he pressed his ring.

I shook my head at his impatience before follwoing him there.

When I landed my first foot on my dukedom, I heard an exciting shriek from taehyung who hoped up and down. My eyes quickly found him as he looked at me just then,

"I can see...i can see in light! " he shouted out while diverting his eyes around, his pupils dilating as he took in everything that gleamed beneath the glimmering shimmers.

"Does that mean you were right? We are mates now!" I said while my stomach churned with euphoria, a fission of bittersweet mixed feelings enveloping me,
