(Bell POV)

"How do you want to win this war game?" Ciel's cool voice washed over me as she asked the question.

"...What do you mean?" I asked.

"Frankly there are several ways I've thought of to get a fairly certain win over Apollo familia...most of them under the assumption that you'd do anything in your power to win..." she murmured.

"..." I didn't respond.

"Frankly if we're strictly talking about how to win the best bet would be to allow Ryu to fight Hyakinthos. Out of everyone she has the easiest time defeating him." she continued to explain.

I merely looked down.

The question she was asking was clear now. What was it I wanted? To win? Merely to win?

I frowned as I recalled all the happenings of the last few days. I took a deep breath and spoke. "I want to fight Hyakinthos." I said. My voice came out slightly stronger than I had intended. It wasn't on purpose, but I could only attribute it to my feelings being that strong.

"Even if it means the chances that you win the war game drop?" She asked. Ciel was a kind person. But she was also ruthless in her honesty.

I hesitated for a moment. But I nodded.

Ciel smiled. "Alright then, no regreting how things turn out in the end," she said in teasing tone as she fetched something out of her pocket.

"Right!" I responded resolutly.

Her held out her fist and I reached my hand out. She dropped something into it and got up. "When it's just you and Hyakinthos desotry this." I looked down at the green pendent she had handed me. For a momet. I was confused, but I just nodded.

"Alright," I nodded.

And with that Ciel left before I had the time to say anything else.

(3rd person POV)

"Hey," a jovial voice said, staring nonchalantly at the startled first-tier adventures. "Don't mind if we join you guys for this, right?" the voice continued.

Standing just outside the gates of the twilight manor, home to the Loki familia, Rimuru asked this question with a relaxed smile and unconcerned aura. Sophia stood alongside him silently as well, but she appeared to be more on edge than Rimuru.

The Loki familia merely stood silently trying to process it for a moment as the same question rolled through all of their minds.

Why is she here?

Well no that was slightly misleading, they knew why. Quite simply to watch the war game with them.

That was the only possible answer.

Ever since word had gotten out of the war game it had turned into a full-blown event. Not one adventurer dared to delve into the dungeon, taverns and shops opened up early accepting people who wished to watch the war game go down. Gods gathered in the tower of Bable to watch it. People from across the world would visit to catch a glimpse of the War game. Posters were put up advertising it.

It wasn't something to miss. However, that still didn't answer the question.

Finn took a step forward and asked the question on all of their minds. "That's fine, but why did you come here to watch it?" he asked.

"Hmm? Isn't it obvious? The more people the better, besides, aside from her." she pointed to Sophia, "you guys are just about the only people I know. Among other reasons." Rimuru clarified.
