(Sophia POV)

"...so I have this spell..." I spoke slowly covering my mouth. Rimuru, who was still transformed to look entirely different, held a mildly curious expression on his face.

"Oh shit...I think she's actually about to tell him," the voice in my head sounded.

"W-wait really? Is that...a good idea?" a second voice responded.

I elected to ignore them. "You see Renards, animal demi-humans that are part fox, are known for having rare types of magic." I kept talking despite myself. Somehow I felt...I'm not sure how to explain it, but it was like my heart was beating hard and my breath felt kind of labored. Like I was exhausted but full of energy at the same time.

"Could be loveeeee,"

"Yeah, no. Also please stop talking." I responded blankly.

"Please it's not like you even know what love feels like."

"Correct, but this feeling isn't exactly what I'd describe as pleasant." I countered.

"Y...you could just be...nervous."

"Booo that's a boring answer! Sophia being in love is way more interesting!"

"This spell of mine essentially allows me to maintain multiple statuses...the markings on my back..." I clarified... choosing to ignore the annoying bug and the kind girl in my head.

He nodded slowly, clearly not seeing where I was going with this.

"And as a side effect of these multiple statuses, I have gained multiple souls in my body."

"...huh?" He tilted his head in confusion.

"And out of these souls, there's someone who is better at talking with people than I am..." I shamefully admit.

"That's a low bar,"

"Eh? But that's not true at all...Ava is...quite bold and can be overbearing...and I'm even worse at talking to people..."

"What was that?!" The first voice, Ava, asked.

"Eek! Nothing!"

"So if you wanted to talk with one of them-"

"Woah woah woah wait what? How did we get from multiple statuses to multiple souls? Are you okay? Do you have a fever?" Rimuru seemed genuinely concerned for my health as I spoke.

He attempted to place a hand on my forehead but I took a step back away. "I can assure you I'm fine. And perfectly sane," I said. "Right, you aren't really that familiar with how Falna works are you?" I asked.

He nods slowly. "Not really no," he scratched the back of his head.

"Hmm, well the long and short of it is that the entire falna system is based on the soul, execlia fills our soul from fighting and adventure which then can be read by the gods and converted into tangible growth, our status," I said. "So for me who has multiple souls within my body I also gain multiple statuses," I said.

"I...see," Rimuru responded.

"Would you like to talk to one of them?" I asked.

"...If they're up for it," He nods, scratching the back of his head.

I backed away onto a nearby chair and sat in it before I closed my eyes and began to speak inwardly.

"Eve, you're up,"

"W-w-wait what?! Why me?!"

"Because, as you said Ava's too much of an asshole to talk with people, and I've already tried and failed."
