Hair + ?Blood?

Hii! So yesterday I had my sister cut my hair crazy short because it was unhealthy, I'm glad I cut it but will that affect my mer-journey? I heard to keep your hair long at all times but my hair was falling out crazily and it was getting a lot shorter, but my hair also grows back really fast because of genetics on both sides of my family, so it'll probably grow back to like.. my neck? or shoulder by.. July? my birthday, but manifesting I'll already be a mer-person by then! And about my blood, yesterday I was handing knifes a LOT and I think I cut myself? But i didn't realize till at night, and it's purple?! I don't know if its candy but if it was it would be pink, not purple like this! I put the picture in the banner up top! It's weird and I know it's a cut because it hurts when i push it down and i definitely washed my hands, but is it really my blood? Weird. If you know anything please tell me.
