oliver sat down not breaking eye contact. sudden tension emerged within his flat as she took a sip of her tea that oliver made. "surprised that you wanted a cup of tea." he announced not regretting opening his mouth about it

emily let out a slick chuckle before sitting her teacup onto the plate making it loudly clink, "i know you wouldn't poison me since you're drinking it too." oliver didn't react to the sly remark, just faintly nodded his head

"so erm what brings you to my place?" he asked crossing one leg over the other getting comfortable. he knew this would be good considering emily never even bats an eye at him when they are around each other

"what are your intentions with alexandra?" emily immediately asked not leaving any room for tip tapping into the conversation

oliver didn't have any reaction to her question which drove her insane watching and waiting for him to frown or at least laugh at the question. it felt weird. "i don't having any intentions with dating alexandra. i care about her and just want to be by her side no matter what." oliver kept it short and simple refusing to give any more insight when it comes to his girlfriend

emily shrugged, "that's it? those are your only intentions with being with someone like alex?"

oliver quietly sighed, "someone like alex?" he repeated trying to understand what she means

"oliver please let's be serious. we're adults now, we're not teenagers." emily implied with oliver nodding his head in agreement

emily laughed with sudden motive, "alex is one of the richest people in the world, one of the biggest celebrities in the world. and she is...." emily quickly glanced at him up and down then cringed

"with you." she finished with disgust but oliver wasn't fazed with her behavior

"you come from a middle-class family and aren't even close with your parents. you live off scholarships for school, which i am almost certain you have so much debt to pay off soon..." emily instantly trailed off

"the point is that you just aren't the right match for my friend." she crossed her arms concluding her sentence with dryness.

oliver didn't let her words hurt him. he just slowly licked his lips looking down at his lap before looking back at her, "i'd think you'd want your friend to be happy." oliver mentioned

emily broke out in laughter, "i want her to be happy, just not with you. she deserves to be with someone on her level such as grant." oliver poked his bottom lip out nodding at her wicked response

"well is there anything else you want to get off your mind while you are here?" oliver asked giving her the floor, he wanted to know everything she was thinking

"i think you are a blood sucking moth and i know what you have done." emily stated with flared nostrils, it angered her how he could sit there and act so innocent. acting like he hasn't brought any pain to so many people especially alexandra. emily knew she needed just a little bit of hardcore proof and that would make alexandra run for the hills
