alexandra was laying on oliver's lap watching tv with him. one of his arms laid stretched out on the back of the couch while one hand laid onto alex's stomach. his fingers gently caressed her exposed skin
they both felt relaxed within each others presence. both of them were happier than ever. their relationship couldn't be any better
the two of them just got back from fittings for zade and hannah's engagement party not too long ago. zade finally popped the question, hannah immediately said yes after happily crying of course. everything was set up perfectly and the two absolutely loved the lunch that was prepped for them along with the live classical music
alexandra is so excited for them. she can't contain her excitement anymore. oliver looked down at her seeing that she seemed to be thinking deeply, "what's on your mind?" he asked softly continuing to draw imaginary circles onto her stomach
she looked away from the television up into oliver's blue orbs, "i'm really excited about this engagement party. i'm happy you are going with me." she confessed giving him an innocent gaze
he sighed looking at her with a smile beginning to caress her silky brown hair, "me too." oliver whispered leaning downward to plant a kiss on her forehead
oliver then placed his hand onto her cheek, "how'd i get so lucky with you, hm? i feel like i've hit the lottery." her cheeks flushed hearing him say that. alex raised up to kiss him on his lips
after that, her phone began to ring. alexandra groaned before reaching to snatch her phone off the wooden coffee table. she checked the caller id and sighed deciding to answering the phone. "hey lovie!!!" alexandra immediately sat up hearing a familiar voice that she hadn't heard in years
"piper, oh my God?! is that you?" she asked making oliver look over at her with a deadly stare, but alex wasn't paying any attention
she could hear her laugh, "it's me!!" alexandra scoffed, "it has been so long, you literally ghosted me!! how are you doing? you're always on my mind" alex expressed with excitement
piper was smiling on the other side of the phone, "i'm doing great, i miss you. i'm ready to see you tomorrow!!" alex gasped out of happiness
"you're coming to the engagement party?!"
"i am!! got an invitation from hannah and zade. i wouldn't miss this, plus i think we have some catching up to do."
alex flashed a bright smile, "definitely!! i love you, i'll see you tomorrow."
piper spoke, "i love you more. see you soon."
oliver decided to speak as he watched his girlfriend hang up the phone and lay it down. "haven't seen piper in years." alex looked over at him nodding her head
"i know! she just ghosted everyone four years ago and left without a trace." alex mentioned
after that night... piper immediately fell off the face of the earth. she switched to online classes for oxford then went on to graduate and moved to the states so she could model and has been doing fairly great within the industry
