Yin POV:

God... just please let me know.

What did I do to make you this upset with me?

I'm not complaining or anything. I just want to make things right...

My mom was looking at me with piercing eyes.

I was so sure that somebody rang our doorbell by mistake that I didn't take pre-cautions to cover our home's current romantic state.

It was screaming "we just had sex" to my mother's face. Just like that 'lonely island' song.

Looovely.

And then... things got worse.

"I am so glad we didn't have a butler at our home when you were growing up."

...

My only possibility of keeping myself from getting dumped was the chance of War's going deaf in the last five minutes.

Slim to none.

"Uhm. Mom... I... Welcome. But this is..."

"Not a good time? Obviously honey. This is not great for both of us.

I just wanted to surprise you. I wasn't expecting that surprise would be reciprocal."

She went inside without even waiting for my invitation.

She's not a vampire. Validated.

I took her luggage and closed the door. I put away some petals and candles with my feet, like that was going to help.

"Oh my. I never knew you were so... romantic. You should teach your father some stuff."

"Mom!"

"What?? I can use some sexy time too."

"Mom, please."

"Pfff. Fine, I'll shut up. Although, I really think you should be happy that we can still do it."

"Ears... Bleeding. Hearts... Stopping."

"So..." she looked around and whispered. "Where is he?"

"This is the part where you felt you need to whisper??? Seriously?"

"Is he hiding?"

"Mom! Look at our curtains. Aren't they nice?"

She sighed, put her hands to her waist.

"He really loves you."

"What?"

"I mean... no one in their thirties would agree to hang Iron Man curtains in their own house unless they are crazy... or in love."

"Are you calling me crazy?"

She approached me and softly pushed the hair on my face to the sides.

"Of course not honey. By the way, where are your pets?"

"They are with a sitter."

"Ouw :(. I came all the way to see your family but neither my son in law nor my grandchildren are here."

...

"I am here... you know, your son?!"

"Somebody is needy. Come give mommy a hug."

Well... I could use some mom hug.

"Oh, you lost weight again."

"You always say that. I'm still the same."
