James runs upstairs to his room and see Sammy

Sammy: how did you sleep
James: good how about you
Sammy: I kept kicking someone in my sleep last night
James: yeah that someone was me

Sammy: I know it’s been hard since we lost Jayden but it’s gonna be okay

Sammy: do you ever want to adopt again
James: yeah maybe one day but for right now I just want to enjoy the bad ass kids I do have

James: and I want to spend my free time with you

Sammy: look babe I know you’ve been struggling so i decided to cook dinner for you after work
